I’m stuck in this area in Uptown but I don’t want a hint as it would ruin the fun. I’ve tried killing the beast thing and it won’t seem to die. Can’t seem to go past the spikes in the upper-right either. The Zelda/sword reference was really cool. I’m loving the music and unique game style. Definitely gonna go back and play DERE EXE and DERE EVIL EXE since I never finished them. I love the vibe your games have! Did I mention the awesome music? Some reviewers say we do it because it gives the games that "fear of the unknown" vibe but really it's for the "aha!" moment when players don't know what to do and they get the solution.
