Downloaded the game. Played in offline mode (Wi-Fi wasn't on) and scored 575, but when I went to leaderboards my score wasn't there and I figured out that it's only submitted when you play and you're online. Any ways to solve this? I have 361 online but 575 offline. EDIT: I was playing ONLINE in the meantime so the scores changed.
Dohh! I modified the rules to include that bit of info. Sorry about that. You're right, it will not post old scores. We did this mainly to make it easier to determine when the scores were really made. We show when the score was made in the leaderboards. Our update actually has a ticker tape that shows the last 3 scores made! There is still plenty of time! So let others know this contest is going on !
Hahaha! 12 is pretty good tho! Some of those high scores are crazy! It gets easier to consistently score higher once you figure out some strategy. The update to the lite version also gives you more time and is tuned more like the full version. Hmmm, you're just a little shy of qualifying! Just practice a bit more! You have all weekend and Monday !
I already own the full version of this great game but I just grabbed the lite so I could enter the contest. 956 is my best so far.
On hoops madness full it let me change the name from iPod touch but on hoops madness lite it will not.
A solid score ... and it puts you in the running for the $15 gift card! You're right about that. We don't support that in the lite version. This actually leads up to a good topic. This is actually the first lite version we ever made, so we'd love to hear some feedback. Feedback about the lite as well as the full, if you've played it, would be awesome. We plan on doing some update to the app in the future. We already submitted an update to the lite, but it is probably stuck in queue till after the iPad release. And hopefully next week we'll provide an update to the full versions. The update to the lite will have the following: -Cleans up that nasty ad that covers the results screen. This allows you to see your stats. That seems to be a bug with AdWhirl. Our apologies for it (shakes fist in air at AdWhirl ). -Game time is changed to 30 seconds using the tuning from the full version. This means the game actually becomes more fun to play and you can score much higher scores. -OF enabled with Achievements. FB Connect also enabled. -We added a sports ticker tape to show the daily top 3 scores as well as the 3 latest scores (based on what it got from the last query to the server). We'll change it later on so you can change your name in the lite version! So .... let us know your thoughts on the game !
In like Flint! Now I just have to work on my scores - without my special Durian ball, I'm finding this verison a tad more difficult. Love the music though! (Woulnd't expect anything else from 2n Productions!) PS> Can you change your name in the Free version? Also, sometimes the bing adds go nuts and cover my screen with a purple substance and I can't continue...
Unfortunately, you cannot change your name right now for the Lite version but we will make it possible in a later version. Yeah, we've submitted an update that fixes the bing ad covering up the full screen. Wow, nice score!
I played Hoops Madness Lite and the ads banner always appear at the end. There is one time I cannot proceed to the main menu after I finish the game. It ask me to go to the web site and I have to end my game. Sometimes the ads banner block my view of the game screen and it does not have a button to tap on it to close it. You need to tap outside of the ads banner to close it - very strange but it works.
It seems that after you get past the tutorial (3 games) you can always click along the sides to get past the add. I did end up restarting the game a few times at the beginning, but it's OK now.
