Is there any way to make lots of cash? I am having trouble getting it so all iv been doing is running stone bull over and over...
go to te stone hat level, u can get 100 if u make a decent run, i dont know how much u can get if u pass the level it since i havent beaten it
Ya I can't get very far in that level. But I was talking about like a glitch or secret that will give me crazy amounts of money like those people in the high scores have!
Most of the people with really high coin counts have earned them through replaying the levels again and again trying to get as close to a perfect highscore as possible. There are some I'm sure who use tools available to jailbroken devices to cheat and gain a ridiculous amount of coins though.
There's a bunch of gems near the beginning of Stone Hat that shouldn't take long to get to. You can just get them, die, and repeat if you just want coins. Not much fun that way, though. If you want to get a lot of coins and have fun at the same time, try to get a top 3 highscore or something on a level (or multiple levels).
AAAGGHHH!!! I got to 84% on the stone hat, then I fell in lava (I only need to get 10021 more gold and I have all of the upgrades ) does the silver hat need many rockets? or is 4 enough?
As I recall 4 is enough, are you going for all the gems or just completing the level? For coins, I usually play through Silver Skull with Hookbot. Virtually a straight line so it's pretty easy to blast through without even thinking.
My secret for earning money (I have all upgrades including the 3k hooks and most hats) is to replay stone hatbox over and over. Just grab the 4 gems at the start and die over and over. It's a total grindfest so it isn't exactly fun, but I do it at work when it's slow. You earn money pretty quick.
Okay, I love this game so much. I just realized what you have to do to get the 3000 coin hooks for purchase. You have to buy the 200 coin alt outfit for a character. I realized this after I got Gunny and her alt outfit then noticed her 3000 coin hook was in the shop. I'm sure this was posted before, but I just want to restate it for people reading this page, not the pages before it. QPAWN PWNS!!!!1!!ONE!!1!!
Nope. I don't have any of the alt outfits but they are available for purchase. You just need to beat all of the "normal" missions, the one with the standard chaser. That is, all but skull, rat, and forbidden hats.
I believe the special hooks are actually unlocked by just getting the gold rope and hook, then restarting the game. I'm feeling better. We've tracked down the bug and hope to get it submitted soon. The last tricky bit: It's related to something that also increases speeds for most people, but causes slowdowns for a small percentage of people. We're trying to fix the bug without also taking out the speed increase part. Also, both apply only to people using 3.1.2.
I don't need a speed increase, I got a 3GS! What about the secret acheivements? What are those 3 for doing?
The "speed increase" was specifically to make 3GS devices able to hit a 60 FPS cap rather than a set 40 FPS cap. The secret achievements are all based on completing the harder level sets, as I recall.
