That is also what I was thinking if qpawn is a bot. That it is able to take your best run, and then compute a more efficient course. I think as humans, we just can't get the most efficient swing everytime. But a bot could. And as you mentioned, qpawn will take your best run, and modify that to improve on. So it doesn't necessarily kill your old score, but gives you a glimpse of what could be.

Whatever it is, I'm interested in knowning...

We're still stumped on what's causing the bug exactly. So let's try this:

EVERYONE THAT IS HAVING SLOWDOWN IN A *LEVEL*, especially slowdown that kills you, send me a new private message. In this private message, include your email address and UDID. Alternatively, just send your UDID to the [email protected] email address.

We'll make a test program that will extract data from people that run it in regards to the slowdown stuff. That should at least let us try some different things.

 

That is awesome, zoo! Exactly what I was picturing. However, I see qpawn as having a blue light instead of red. I'm not sure why.

I always thought of qpawn as green for some reason
(I don't know why, it just seems like a greenish sort of name... it may be because the global leaderboards and openfeint are green though)

kepa, would you be able to release the opening music for download? I would like it as my ringtone, (the most epic,pizzarollific ringtone EVAR!!1!) ^_^

Yep, I noticed that a couple of days ago shortly after Kepa posted a screen with qpawn's icon. That's what led me to believe that Rocketcat is behind qpawn.

Agreed. However, the timing from when Kepa posted his screen to when I saw qpawn's new icon was a very short amount of time. Plus, Kepa has hinted that he might know more than we think.

But who knows. Hopefully the mystery will be revealed at some point.

I'm not usually one to complain... but I was having trouble with the hats levels and thought i'd buy hookbot. In the description it says REMOVES CHASER but on the hat levels the chaser is still there.

Also in the store why is it after you buy something it's in the store for free and you can "buy" it again? Why not just have an equip button.

Sure, if you call 35 being a kid... And what is wrong with a good conspiracy theory? Kepa has already alluded to the fact that there is something behind qpawn, that he knows, and he will reveal details at a later time.

So we weren't acting like kids, just noticed some things that made us suspicious is all, and because of that we have come up with some really nice theories, I think.

 

kepa will be removing the chaser in the 3.5 update, but at the cost of the special hat reward.
