I did it using Gunny by going under large portions of the level. You miss a ton of coins but it's much much easier.
For anyone who beat the first hat level ca someone provide some ideas what I can do, I can get to around 70%
hehe kepa,(I think it's kepa, anyway) on the openfeint suggestions has just confirmed the name of the green stuff in the rat levles and in the start of the ghost zone "The green stuff? well its Green...Stuff"
Yes. Though I haven't checked recently if Hookbot really is the master of that level. He just most likely is, at least on paper.
That's the lava bit, right? There's not much help to offer... Just gotta get the timing right. One thing you could try is waiting for the chaser right before you start that bit and shoot him, he shouldn't catch up by the end of the level, though he will be right on your tail. Oh, and as a heads up, if that part's giving you trouble you're going to scream when you see the silver level. I can't get past 40%
I'm also at the silver level, i just made it through the worst part just to find a HORRIBLE part consisting of a WALL OF IMPRENETABLE LAVA. Help? btw. I love this game to bits.
You have to use Jake and his hot pants to get past the lava wall. So if you haven't bought the pants, start saving.
What I meant was you have to beat all the level but Skull, Rat, and Hats to be able to purchase them. My bad for not being clear
Makes sense, shame though. I like the new character the best, don't remember her name though. She's cool. thanks!
I get to the double lava part on Stone Hat every time and then lose... So frustrating, yet somehow fun.
Because I am intrigued, I have to make one more post about qpawn before the mystery is unveiled, if ever. Being a developer myself (not games unfortunately), I could not recall coming across the name qpawn in my work or studies. However, the name brings visions of the movie War Games to mind. You can tell that I now believe qpawn is not a real person. So I thought I'd do a quick search on "qpawn", and what do I find -- a web-based geopolitical simulation game called "qpawn" (now you see where the War Games movie piece comes in). So I can only assume that qpawn is indeed some kind of Hook Champ domination simulator and/or A.I. or bot as had been mentioned. And I would guess that this bot learns from all of us playing the game -- basically learning our best moves, and combining them all to create the perfect run. That would make sense as I always found qpawn to be reactionary to my playing and setting high scores, and why I got the impression that qpawn was picking on me. But I also think that qpawn can be set to perform a perfect run, as it immediately set amazing scores on the new Hat levels. Anyways, interesting stuff, and I could be way off. But if qpawn is some kind of simulator, then that is very cool, and I would love to hear more details. Sorry for the boring post. I had to get that out.
I like playing hook champ, but I don't really have the skills, time or willpower to beat the gold skull level. I'd love it if future updates gave the game some more content at the middle skill levels, so I and my fellow plebs can get to try it out.
When i see it first, it was like one of custom Nintendo Games. Not bad, but not rly awesome or something else.Try to do your best next Time.
I seem to be getting the frame jump bug as well, but not in levels, it inly happens on the title screen and the openfeint scrolling thing at the top,it seems to jump forward a few pixels every second or half I have the ipod touch 2g 16Gb with the 3.12 OS (i think that is the most recent) Ith has never been jail broken
Sad Hook Champ fan does Family Crafts So, this is what we did this weekend. These are Pyssla beads which is IKEA's knockoff of Hama beads. I could do even better with lovely clean sprites rather than ones off screen shots. Hint. There are some on the rocketcat website but I really want Hookbot with his Viking helmet and Zelle with her night suit and a fruit hat. Anyway, my kids were very impressed.
