Isn't gold like a easy level or something funny? Don't tell me what it is tho because then i will not want to go on and beat the levels.
LOL! Anyway why is hookbot being chased in the new levels?!?!? This doesn't make sense... he's supposed to have "Safe Travel".
Oh, and on a game related note, you guys should add an ice cave level set in one of the Hook Champ updates.
Replying to various, then I have to work on other stuff for the next few days at least. The Update 3.5 thing may throw a wrench in our plans. Worst case scenario is that Update 4 would be in early February rather than late January as planned. We're having a lot of difficulty tracking down the performance bug. Hookbot gets chased in the newest levels because I wanted the new levels to be a special, extra hard to beat sort of thing. What we're going to do is just make it so you can't get the special hats as Hookbot on those levels. In return, he'll be ghost-free. I could tell you definitively about the whole qpawn thing, but wouldn't that ruin the fun? An ice cave level is coincidentally exactly what update 5 (6? 5 might just be new hats and nothing else) is going to have. See you in a few days. Keep the legend of qpawn alive.

Just beat the stone and bronze hat levels. Stone took me a hell of a lot longer, I have to say, though I thought it was a much better level than bronze. I'm really not a fan of the whole "sam through a ton of walls in a row" thing, as I always seem to lose my momentum and land halfway through. Maybe I'm just bad at it? I dunno. I've only been playing for a week now. Anyways, great work on the new level set. You guys are now on my instant purchase list, anything released by Rocketcat in the future gets grabbed ASAP.
I found that you really have to use Hookbot on the Bronze Hat level. He is able to really crush his way through the crumbling blocks. And as long as you can keep moving, the chaser won't catch you -- I have found that the chaser has really been balanced in the Hat levels depending on who you play. With Gunny on Stone, he is fast, and with Jake on Silver he is slow, and I only see him in the beginning there.
Really? With Hookbot on stone hat I can sometimes make it to the first string of gems before he gets me, but I'll die right after, the ghost is just too fast.
Yeah, I haven't bought Hookbot yet. I was planning on grabbing them at some point to support the devs, but it's not at the top of my priority list as a broke college student about to start another term of classes. Also, I was wondering, how much of a difference do the 3k gold hooks make? Is it futile to even attempt to crack the top 10 of the leaderboards without one? Whose should I prioritize?
