Is your ipod Jailbroken? The above happens sometimes on Jailbroken ipods... do a google search for test user account DLC and that should help. I think I prodivded a link somewhere in the thread, or maybe it was on the @hookchamp twitter account in response to someone... I have seen your game, but have not gotten a chance to play it yet. I did notice how great the parallaxin looked when I saw the videosof it. I'll make a note of your advice above and think about it when my brain is working better. Should be submitted by this weekend. Then Apple has to approve it, this takes 1-2 weeks usually. I think those were sniffing noises from someone. Everyone was sick except Blake, as I recall. yea my ipods jailbroken i still payed for the game and dlc though. i just figured the dlc would act the same as everything else i had to redownload off the appstore, where it says 'you have already purchased this item do you want to reinstall it for free?". Thanks though il look into that I dont really care at all either id rather use the original character makes the game more exciting
I just want to add that kepa after hearing you on touch arcades podcast I am really excited for you guys, and wish you continued success, I really am a fan for life! you guys sound like pretty cool dudes!
kepa, got the DLC; hookbot is great... one idea, you should have made it so that you couldn't have got hoobot till after one passed a certain amount of the game so you a newb couldn't use Hbot to learn the levels before playing them.. i don't mine DLC, but it should add something amazing to the game; a level editor, something like Hbot, that sort.. always have free DL levels... and always have plenty of levels.. this game is one of the best around. so much fun... can't wait for the next update, and for your next game.. keep up the amazing work..
So I get to play as John Gore, kill furries with a machine gun, and the big ones split into smaller ones? I could just play Minigore if I wanted all that. Seriously, I hope you manage to integrate it into HC in a classy way. I think crossovers usually dilute the enjoyment of both titles involved, hopefully this won't be the case.
Today it was the weirdest thing, for some reason I just played Hook Champ lol. Still couldn't get a #1 global position closest I got was #6 on Golden Monkey.
Awesome. Just tried golden monkey and was able to get to #6 on global. Also #4 on bronze bull and #2 on bronze stone rat. I still haven't been able to claim a #1 global though... I think I can get up to at least #2 for golden monkey. I'll have to try later though.
Nice and interesting. I am a little weary about it, I do not have the necessary dexterity to do this.
Enjoyed the podcast a lot, you were great Kepa and your voice is cool! I personally cant wait for your next game, and any future updates to hook champ. Also, on the podcast you sounded really down to earth and experienced for a 26 year old and i look forward to the many years you have left in the industry and i hope you can at some point go full time and make tons of games for us!
