We may not to do FUNCTIONAL DLC again. However, I am interested in seeing if people would go for EXPANSIONS in the next game we make. That is, pay 2 dollars and, completely hypothetical example, unlock a full spinoff-game in the game itself that's kind of like Megaman with a grappling hook (or Bionic Commando, but this time we won't take the gun away)????? Basically expansions so big, with new gameplay, that they're like internal sequels.

You'll get tons of money from going back and replaying the levels to get #1 local scores. I heavily suggest this before doing Skull, because you need top-tier equipment. Or you used to, it's a little easier now with Jake basically having two more rocketjumps than he used to.

I just got like 500 money from getting #1 local score on the last bull idol map, but I went back to the last one way back in wimpy idol and got #1 there too but not so much money

 

The earlier levels don't give as much money, but they're easy and it really starts to stack up.

got this game before i went to relatives house with crappy internet that never works and no video games. Totally kept me alive the whole time. I really love it. I'm stuck on the last level of whichever idol is the lava one. I just can't beat it. Awesome game though

I can't believe I didn't see not only the gameplay (sort of) comparison to Dino Run, but the hats too! That's really cool to know...

Metroidvania is totally the genre, other than Shadow Complex, I can't think of ANYTHING recent. I hope it doesn't ever get overdone, but yea, I'd agree, one of the best genre's. Could be that 'cult classic' type feel they all have...

 

Yes. You beat the game if you beat the Gold Bull level. There's a little ending and everything.

Of course, it unlocks 8 new, even harder levels. I like to think of it as a New Game+ kind of thing. Next update, it will be 11 new levels.

I love Metroidvanias. Seems kind of hard to do on the iPhone, because good ones require such precision in the controls and great game design. I'd love to tackle that challenge, though. And I'd slap a grappling hook on top of it, because I love grappling hooks so damn much.
