Placed a few decent scores on the refreshed Bull leaderboards too.. I see my nemesis mikeg has placed some extremely tough to beat scores on Silver and Gold Bull though. Kepa, are the new updates being beta tested or not? Haven't seen any activity regarding new betas since the last update.

Zoo, good to see you are back playing. I had noticed that I wasn't seeing your name show up on any of the leaderboards. I really should take a week or two off from playing this game, as I could use the break. I was really happy with my Bronze and Silver Bull scores, but I noticed that qpawn has surpassed my scores on both of those levels. His scores don't get posted to the weekly leaderboards, so you have to look at OF. I don't know how he did it on Bronze, as I have no idea how I can improve on that level. I've already improved on Silver Bull this morning, but still behind qpawn.
Thanks mike, taking a break certainly made me appreciate the game more upon returning to it. I just beat your Golden Bull score, scoring exactly the same as qpawn on OF though. Shame his scores aren't on the normal boards. Time to work on Bronze and Silver.
Do you have to be on wireless for scores to post to the weekly boards? I'm not sure if he doesn't have access, or purposely doesn't post scores (somehow) as a strategy (makes it harder to track his scores, and times are not posted to OF). Nice job on Gold Bull. The ending of that level always gets me. The score you beat isn't my best, because it got wiped off when the leaderboard was cleared a week ago. But you still beat me on OF. I know I can improve on Silver Bull, so I have been trying to work on that more. Stone Bull is the killer for me. I have no idea how you guys get such fast times on that level. Efficient swinging I guess. And I think getting down to the jewel and back up can cost a lot of time if you don't do it right. EDIT: the weekly boards and OF don't show my best Stone Bull score (I got it before the update), which would give me a few more points, but still not as good as your time and others. EDIT2: I just reclaimed Silver Bull with a 9856 (1:05.05). I'll see how long that lasts.
Update 2 wasn't beta tested online, as it didn't have too many breakable parts we were worried about. We just tested it with a smaller group of local people. Update 3 will have a beta, because it includes new levels and a bunch of new OpenFeint things. To post on the weekly boards, you have to be online at the same time you got the new score. If you're offline, and come back online, it won't update your weekly score. OpenFeint has a built in system that will post your scores to the OpenFeint board whenever you're online again, even if you're offline when you got the score. At some point, we'll most likely seamlessly merge the weekly and OpenFeint scoreboards completely. Most likely for our next game.
It is so worth $2.99. I bought it at $0.99 when it first came out, and I have gotten way more out of this game than most others. I wish I could have paid the $2.99. I plan on buying any and all DLC characters, etc. to show my support.
Will it be getting the new OpenFeint 2.4? It's pretty sweet and I'd love to see it in my favorite OF game Hook Champ If you want it so bad then just buy it. It's totally worth the price. I agree with mikeg, I'll be buying the DLC as soon as I can to support the dev as well. If you tried the lite and liked it, just buy the full for $3. You won't regret it. EDIT: Whoa, just went and checked and the update is out! I did not realize that! Looks like you'll be getting my DLC money in just a matter of minutes!! And I can't wait to turn off the pre-level banter, woohoo!
Yeah, buy it. It is worth the money. I got this a couple days ago with some gift card money and out of all the 30 games I have for my ipod, Ive been playing Hook Champ the most.
how much does the dlc cost i guess i will buy it since the update is out and all u git is a charcter no levels
You top scorers must have made incredibly perfect runs, fair play good work Any old challenge would do for now, never played a challenge on champ or OF. I installed the update but it looks like it hasn't taken effect yet :/
2.4 was actually going to be in update 2, but we delayed it just to make dead sure that we could implement it well. It'll definitely be in update 3. That was a really fast update on Apple's part! They must like us. If it helps anyone waiting for a sale: We're 100% guaranteed not having another Hook Champ sale, ever. It turns out that sales aren't worth it, for a myriad of reasons I'm not going to get into right now. It's especially not worth it for Hook Champ, because it's a game that provides major updates. Speaking of which, I promised update 3 preview info as soon as update 2 hit. Since it hit early, I'll provide some update 3 feature information later tonight. Probably in a few hours.
Nice! Anyway since i got hook champ for $2.99 i feel i will not be getting DLC. If i got it for 99c i would have because then i would have feeled it's worth more but to me hook champ is worth $2.99 on the app store and will not be getting any DLC.
I have to disagree. I would gladly pay $5 for this game plus DLC. But that is just my opinion. EDIT: Hook bot has been purchased!
