Brilliant game. Hope there will be more levels later on.

 

There will be at least 4 more, though we had to scale back our plans a tiny bit for them. This will happen the next major update (after the one we submitted today). Though we may have a minor update between this one and the next big one.

ALERT: The global scores are now officially the weekly scores. Everyone that was at a #1 position recently are now immortalized as placeholders. Whenever there's a score reset (every week), the immortalized scores will be placed up there to guard the #1 spot automatically. These scores have been reduced by 10%, to give people a chance of beating them.

Can YOU stop me from putting a #1 score on every single board?

Answer: No, I already did.

But now you can have a decent chance at getting a golden crown every week.

In a future update, we'll add new ULTRAHATS as rewards for being either the #1 score for the whole week, or for just having a #1 score for all time. Haven't decided the specifics yet.

We submitted the next update already, so it's entirely in Apple's hands. Last time, the update only took about 10 days to approve. Of course, now it's almost Christmas. They may be swamped by all the Santa-related games and updates.

That's fantastic! I have no doubt Hook Champ will do spectacularly. The amount of love and polish you guys have put into it really shows.

Also, gnabbed the "#1 on a Global Scoreboard" achievement yesterday! Loaded up to play some / earn some coins for the coming update, did relatively bad on a level and somehow it told me I was #11 globally. So I loaded up Stone Rat which I'd been working on, and nailed it before the big wigs could block me from doing so.

 

I nominated it as well, is there somewhere we can just vote for it? Or does nominating it cover that

Hook Champ didn't get nominated. It's one of the best iPhone games out there. Too bad.
