How about... "Hook Exploration" or as mikeg said... "Hookalanche" or possibly... "Mountainside Hooker"
Can anyone give me any tips for the last lava part on the stone hatbox? Should I take long or short jumps?
I might be wrong, but I think 'Mountainside Hooker' was the original title for the tv series 'Deadwood'. Or it's an upcoming HBO Undercover show that takes place in Denver.
Hahaha, maybe. But seriously, adding "Hooker" in the title could actually be a smart marketing strategy... it would get him a lot of attention.
And I can already envision all of the 1-star reviews from disappointed buyers when they find out it is only a game.
Lol, I was thinking the same thing, but they probably wouldn't buy it without reading the description. That would really suck, though. I really like your idea of calling it Hookalanche by the way.
Yeah, I like it too. However, it sounds like Kepa is set on Quickhook. But I still think Hookalanche is a nice enough twist that it isn't necessarily "avalanche" specific. It could also be viewed as quick hooking -- hooking as fast as an avalanche. Sorry, Mag, I'm now done with Quickhook naming schemes in this thread (maybe).
All you need to know is that it will take you a long time to finish the game. game > 48 hours I'm done talking about the name of the upcoming game also.
If I'm remembering right, long jumps. I often tried to skip a ring whenever possible. Though I might be thinking of silver hatbox... it's been awhile. You travel inside and outside of caves, for one. You can hook to the underside of a hill above you (the higher hill's floor). And finally, there's various ruins and such dotting the landscape you can latch on to.
I think that Avalanche King has a nice ring to it. But Hookalanche is great too. I can't wait to see a video of the new game though. I'm sure you'll make a Carnival theme for us to run through. Don't let any places on this earth go uncharted by this new game. Go for the gold Rocketcat!
Can someone explain to me how to move fastest? Do you have to hook as much as possible, or as few as possible and therefor go as much in a straight line as possible or make long swings? Reason I ask is that I only just got the cursed hook but I'm still not able to break 6th in global, even with for my feeling perfect runs.
I was just told I got #5 on the global leaderboards for The Golden Skull. But my name isn't there, do I need to wait for it to refresh?
Okay okay, this is my last post about the upcoming game QuickHook (hopefully), and it has nothing to do with its name. I think Kepa gets the point. One of the recent posts in this thread got me thinking... what if in QuickHooks gameplay had to do with the location he is in... for example, he had to travel to Egypt, and he would swing on pyramids and would run in the desert. Possibly a forest in the Amazon and hook on the trees. Then go through the city in New York and use balconys to hook onto... etc. etc. If not QuickHook, then the next, as QuickHooks gameplay is mostly about randomly-generated survival, and this would only work in the "race mode" anyway.
