i first thought that too
but i had to go by train and then i gotta wate ( deutsche bahn )
=> found a wlan spot
=> looked for games under 10 mb
and downloaded it
after playing it a bit i got really addicted

kepa....my old phone died...had it replaced today. i know you don't work for OF, but if i switch my OF name to my new device, will that load all my previous scores & unlockables? as much as i like this game, accumulating all that stuff again would be a huge hassle.

 

Hmm, I'm curious as to whether or not the IGF Mobile 2010 award generates sales for Hook Champ.

Kepa, do you have spikes of sales, or more of an even amount of sales every week? Most typical is spikes of sales, but as this game is always getting updates etc it might be more even than spikes.

So, is this award spiking your sales?

OpenFeint save restore didn't exist when we made the game. We also didn't make the game modular enough, so putting it in turned out to be a huge problem. It's something we'll make sure the next game has it... we'd also like to put it in Hook Champ in some limited form. Maybe just saving your unlocks/upgrades?

Not so far, at all. Then again, we a good part of the first day, which is probably when it would count the most.

We usually have a steady number of sales every day; I don't recall ever having a major spike.

 

Isnt it possible to place an old backup on a new phone?

Ah, but I do have this game! I actually bought it way back when it was released, and it has never left my iPhone since. I've even managed to get a few high scores. =)

 

This game almost gave me a heart attack. After beating silver hat for the first time, my heart was racing.

I can't believe I finally beat the game. I feel happy I beat it and sad now that I beat all the levels so far .

 

A few highscores, hahahaha.

 

I'm getting a crapload of lag in this game. I'm on the latest update and it wasn't causing me problems before, but it might just be that the lava/water levels(which I hadn't got to before the update) are the issues. It's pretty much unplayabe!

 

Have you tried enabling the Speed Fix in the settings menu?
