It's been suggested. Couldn't fit it in the first update, though. Sounds weird, I'll check it out. Anyone else experience this? Not so much a bug as us just not putting in an animation for him teleporting on you and killing you, heh. There's probably a perfect max score for every level, but it's hard to say what it would be since that would require doing everything perfectly for a solid two minutes. I usually trip up at least once for a second, and that's with me knowing the ins and outs of every level. Congratulations on your awesome new hat! It's very likely that new maps, when we get around to putting them in, will be free content updates. I have some ideas for paid DLC I'd like to try out later, but I don't really believe in having to pay for new maps. Just seems like maps should be free.
There's already spaces on the map reserved for new locations. If we run out of room completely, we'll make it scroll or something. I'll be leaning towards a Silver Bull design philosophy for new levels. Silver Bull wasn't too bad on its own, unless you tried to get the secrets. Going for the alternate secret paths in Silver Bull made that level more difficult. You'll most likely see a similar mechanic in new levels. This way, lots of people can eventually beat the new levels, but there's lots of room for the hook champs to compete with each other.
That'd be good, but I think there should be a mix of the 4: Easy, Medium, Hard, and then ones like Silver Bull. Only because the newer people would still want easy maps to play on, and still rank in with the higher up guys, then those top guys can duel it out on the hard and Silver Bull like maps. But honestly, no matter what you guys do, I'll be happy with and it will still keep me coming back every day for more
ARRRRRRRRRRGHHH Golden Skull is killing me. It's the first level I've really struggled with - Gold Bull and Silver Skull posed some difficulty but I got them on about the 20th attempt each. This is entirely different. Regardless, this is definitely in my top 3 iPhone games. I'd take 2D pixel charm of this caliber over horrible aliased unnatural 3D any day.
Does it get hard at the end? I haven't tried it that much but got past 50% almost every time I tried.
I normally miss a jump before the wall break and when the thicker columns (where the first jewel is) come into effect. what happens is that I hook to the side and while swinging under, I hit the bottom of the column while trying to keep away from the magma highest I've got so far is 69% ah well.
Gold Skull is my exercise in making a level just on the verge of impossible. Or it used to be. It actually used to be much harder. There was a section in which you were constantly only 3 tiles or so above the lava while still doing long jumps. I took that out because it wasn't so much challenging as annoying. The last 20% or so also used to be much harder. Now, if you can make it to 75% or so, you're destined to win eventually. I'm glad people have been blowing through the challenging levels. We spent a good couple extra weeks of beta hammering out the difficulty curve.
I beat Golden Skull today! But I didn't receive a skull hat... ;_; Edit: Nevermind... It's the Skull Mask, not a hat.
I beat the golden skull too but i dont have the mask edit: nevermind found it. only 3 more dev scores to beat (including golden skull)
I make it to around 60% each time, does that mean I'm destined to fail? Like someone said earlier though, even though it's frustrating it's completely enjoyable. It reminds me of plugging away on virtually impossible Amiga games for hours on end. One thing though, I just got a message saying a new hat was available as I'd bought 10 hats but I can't see a new one in the store, which hat should be unlocked?

Not really, except some bugfixes and tweaks I've talked about. I haven't said anything about the major new features yet. I'll be starting to release information on the first update very soon. I believe Monday should be the first announcement.
