Alright I guess since a few people want to see some small secrets I've come across, fine. I'll do it, jeez! ____________________ Okay here's a small secret that is great when you're trying to find all the secret gems in every level. This shows you that if you drop down, you will either find a few hidden gems, or a secret passage way! To see what I mean, look at the ceilings in the Gold Bat level. ____________________ These hanging skulls will tell you whats to come. These are especially useful for people that are having a difficult time on the Bull levels, Skull levels, Frog levels, or any level, really. If there is one skull hanging, it means there is going to be some small jump you will have to make or some blocks you will have to smash, or something of the sort. It means there will be a small event that will occur and you will have to watch out for it. If the skulls are rising like this, then it means the next platform is going to be up high, so you might want to use a rocket boost. If the skulls are lowing like this, that means that the next platform is going to be lower, so you should swing lower. If the skulls are well-hung like this, then it's going to be intense. Go on any map, like the Silver Bull, and look for these hanging on the ceilings, they basically foreshadow what's going to come next in the map. It's a great idea to learn how to read these, as you'll get better map times. ____________________________________________ And the last secret, which I've already mentioned before, is the secret shop. One person asked me how to use the shop, and it's not usable, it's just a cool little secret. To get to this location, go to The Gold Furry, and in the beginning of the level, follow my picture below: All of these hidden secrets show how brilliant this game truly is. Found a weird thing not sure if its a glitch or not. Funny though when I go to the shop, one time i hooked onto the shop just wondering is this like an easter egg or something?
its not quite like that. Its when i go to shop, i hook onto the outside of the shop i have the pic but dunno how to put it on here
We're actually just waiting for the blog to change over. Blogger.com is apparently discontinuing their FTP blog options, and providing a way to easily move it over. So that's delaying the fancy new blog till the end of the month. I think I'll just put it on the main Hook Champ page for now, actually. I've never seen this before. Sometimes you can glitch out Jake to have weird particle effects in the shop, though.
I don't understand his easter egg...is he hooking onto the sign or what? Oh, and i got a quick glitch that i found out when trying to get to the shop. I'll add a screenshot soon. EDIT: Well, the glitch isnt much of a glitch, but it was something that happened and it hanged (hung?) there. Without making me holding the screen. EDITx2: Screenie! John got stuck to that wall when i was trying to get to the shop, but i hooked to that spot, john hit the wall, tons of particles fly out, and he gets stuck, you can let go of the screen...and it'll stay there!
