Hey qpawn, nice to see your not just a bot So far qpawn, Twiddle, and myself are all dwarfs in metalic bear suits :3
DUDE, I thought the same friggin thing hahahahaha!! This guy must be Lt.'s son or something. Maybe one of his offspring from when Action was working on street corners for a while.
Oh for Kepa I wanted to suggest you have the acheivement Grand Hat Master - 50 points - Buy all Hats. Also put in a 10 coin worth GOLDEN RUBY!
The John Gore levels will have boards just like all the other levels. That is, loot collected x bonus time for speed running purposes. It will actually be interesting for speed runners because you don't get a shotgun/rocketboots, and have to evade monsters. We're not doing kill boards/etc for Gore because those would be a waste of time. Specifically, they'd be hacked in about 10 minutes. See/blame the people on the top of the Most Coins Collected board. Next game, we could probably do anti-hack stuff for the "stat boards". The next game will also have less modes than Hook Champ has levels, so there's more room for that kind of thing. MOST PIZZA ROLLS EATEN. We'll actually be going into beta testing for Update 4 very soon. I keep fiddling with the Gore levels.
We post stuff to the blog and there's a zoom button in pause for screenshot taking. Other than that I'm not sure where we'd go with that.
Oh, hey Kepa, sort of a random question, but some time back in this thread you said that the casual controls were better than the pro controls? Yeah well, I got 3 of my (in real life) friends to pick up with game, and one of them told me that the pro controls were the "Developers Choice", when you told me that casual was better. I told them that was a lie... but then I went to check on Hook Champ, and it was actually true. I personally like casual... but is the Dev choice really pro controls? EDIT: Also, when are you going to feature my Achievements Guide? EDIT2: Could you get your graphics designer to reveal the template he uses in Photoshop/Illustrator to create the sprites in Hook Champ?
We could post it on the blog. I haven't had time. It's incredibly low priority compared to Update 4 or the next game or making the website look prettier. Achivements guide: When I redesign the page. Or maybe I'll just put it on the blog next time I make a post. Art template: I think he did already, in the blog comments. It's pixel art, it's done a pixel at a time with anti-aliasing turned off. I'll solve the whole Pro Controls issue. We're removing them in Update 4, I believe. We're replacing them with a revamped UI for the controls, with both Casual UI (big lame walk buttons) and Pro UI (smaller than it is even now UI).
Kepa, quick question. I bought the updated skins for all the characters(winter clothes, night suit, silver hookbot), and I noticed that when i re-choose characters, with zelle and hookbot they go back to original skins, while with jake and gunny they automatically go back to winter clothes. Is there any way to set it so that they just stay with what I last chose, like with hats? Pretty sure I haven't mentioned yet, so, just as a side note, this ties for my favorite ipod game with Spider, so....thanks for wasting more time than any other dev
