Thanks for the update! I had put HC on hold sadly with the choppyness last update brought and was looking forward to being able to play it again. When I tried it earlier this morning on my way to work I was wondering what the hell was wrong with the new update, since the performance actually was worse then before. Was playing Bronze Frog, excessive stutter, skipping a ton of frames, so bad at one point that I actually glitched through a wall. (Should've made a screen capture now I think of it, oh well to late now) After reading some comments here, and seeing that you actually needed to turn it on in preferences I tried it again during my *ahem* morning constitutional, and it played silky smooth again, netting me the #1 local score on my first go Anyway keep up the good work, looking forward to more updates, even though I'm far away from even completing it right now.
It's amazing how many people are not reading the infos for the update (doesn't matter if it's on itunes or at TA)! But I am glad to hear that everyone can enjoy HC again. I was so loooking forward to this update!
Well, to be fair I skimmed them in a hurry this morning while getting dressed for work I just thought it would be worth to mention that the performance without the fix was even worse then before 3.5.
Wondering about the DLC. Do you get Hookbot and Gunny for $.99 or do you get Hookbot for $.99 and Gunny for another $.99?
Finally.... Finally got my Crown. I know I suck but... I got it on Stone Bull last night. I'm prolly #10 or 20 by now... oh well. GOT MY DAMNED CROWN!!! Now I can die happy. I convinced my brother to buy this game when it was $2 recently - just gotta convince him he likes it.
Hi guys What is the trick in Silver Hat? I can pass the first series of hooks (with lava above and down) and the second (same thing, but the lava is much closer)... then i get into a kind of tunnel and then appear a lava wall covering all my passage... I tried going up and down before entering these 2º series of hook, but couldnt find a way... I was playing with Gunny all the time... and i dont have Zelle or Hookbot. Is it a Jack only level? What do i have to do? "Use" the hot paints in these lava wall? Thanks!
I had the same question as well... I get to that part without using the hotpants and I even use a shotgun blast to speed it up so I don't die.... I hasn't worked yet...
