Yeah, that one gives everyone some trouble. And it should, because it's the gateway to the Challenge Level sets. One day you'll look back wistfully on the last bull level. We are adding an item next update to make magma levels easier.

Actually, I find these levels easier than the frog levels. The water ALWAYS gets me eaten by that darned chompmonstersauras. Creating Swingaling with the same swinging mechanic made the magma levels a bit of a breeze for me. Hook Champ 2 planned?
congrats! great game! out of curiosity as a developer myself, did you get an email saying that you're in New and Noteworthy? Or is it something you just have to look out for?
I have no idea what's going on there. We show up on New and Noteworthy in the app store's front page, but we don't show up on New and Noteworthy in the games section. Also, the Lite version still isn't out, despite submitting it a tiny bit before the full version, and that was some time ago. A direct sequel isn't something we're going to do. We'd prefer to just nurture and build up our current game through content patches. The next game is going to be a spiritual sequel, though. Same engine, similar sense of style, but very different genre. If you wait 3 to 4 weeks for the next content patch, it'll be 2 dollars. You'll save an entire dollar! That's like, 33% off if you wait an entire month. Though that sale will also only last a weekend, so you might miss that one, too. Or you can try winning a promo code in a contest I'm going to have for the Lite version, when it comes out. Then again, Apple might delay that for reasons unknown so it also takes a month of waiting.
This game is absolutely brilliant. Congratulations to Kepa and whoever else at Rocketcat is responsible for this gem. Kepa - Does Rocketcat have a Twitter account? I find that to be the easiest way to stay abreast of content updates and new apps from my favorite developers. A few suggestions that have yet to be mentioned by others- Currently when you equip a hat that you already own, the button still reads 'Buy'. Perhaps the button could change to read 'Equip' or something along those lines. Also, while I love the icon, it doesn't quite look right on the iPhone itself. Because of the black border, the icon actually looks noticeably smaller than all the other icons. I understand that this is done to get the effect of the guy swinging outside the border of the icon. Perhaps the same could be done but with a different color border. Minigore is a good example of an icon that pulls off the same effect without looking out of place. I wouldn't normally nitpick about an icon but this game is easily a Page 1 app for me so I will be seeing your icon every time I look at my phone. One again, congratulations on such a great game.

We don't have a twitter. I like to stay behind the times. I grudgingly accept the existence of twitter because Danny Devito has a twitter. Man that sounds gross. We changed the icon just now, coincidentally. We could probably change "Buy" to "Equip" for hats. Thanks for the suggestions.
Already done! I just put the finishing touches on an updated icon, which will be included in the first update of the game. Thanks for the catch!
Just picked this up recently - well done! Really highly polished and fun. About the only bad thing here right now is the icon, and it sounds like that is being replaced.
Thanks again for the great game, Kepa and others. I was up last night earning my crown on The Silver Bull and then going on to take the top spot on each Bull level. It was tough but very rewarding. It looks like someone's already beaten my Stone Bull score! Guess I'll have to do some more swinging.
Thanks for the reply Kepa, it's really great to see the amount of support you're giving to your gem of a game and listening to user feedback. I just want to throw in my 2 cents: 1. Not sure if you've already addressed this, but I encountered the floating through the ceiling bug on Silver Skull by activating the Rocket Boots to get through the first long section of breakable blocks. This tends to happen when I activate them while lined up with the top row of blocks. 2. Tap to hook and tap to run have been an issue, possibly because I'm tapping too high when I try to run. This is most problematic when standing on top of a breakable block suspended in lava. Perhaps make it more obvious where the cut-off point for hooking is? 3. One question: what's the difference between the regular ghost and skull ghost? Skull ghost is just faster? I find that the ghosts get completely ignored once you play the hardest levels because the fastest route through the level is the only way through the level. Once again, great job with the game and look forward to more updates/games from you guys!
I think it would be brilliant if you could race against a ghost of your best run through the different levels. Or being able to download ghost versions of the best times on the leaderboards.
nope im stuck on bull gold also. whilst i appreciate a challenge. i fear that any updates wont be quite as much fun because i cant access them since i cant do this level! after over 100 attempts ive officially given up whether i suck at this or not, i dont think the game will get any easier lol all in all, especially at the sale price, i feel i got good value for money. its a really addictive game
