Well, I was thinking that possibly Kepa might have had it stored somewhere and could just copy and paste it to me, and I could put the information into a guide. Thanks for the post, but I don't want to start on the guide until I'm sure I have all the hats and everything.

How about you PM me all the unlockable hats and I can make a guide? I don't want to start my game over, nor do I have a second ipod.

So that means that I can create the final product? Thanks so much. All I really need is the basics like:

"Golden Duck" unlockable for Gunny. Achieved through the Stone Hatbox.

I just need that for all the unlockable hats. I will also create an achievement guide, but I don't need any help with that. I have all the achievements already.

Also: If you could get me all the basic hats that are available by default that would be great, but not necessary.

there are about ten hats missing, from the list, they are listed at the bottom, they are most likely for the rat and skull idols and maybe for beating some local scores
    Edit, sent ^_^

If anyone would like to help Me and Twiddle with the hat guide, if you have any info on how to unlock these hats, it would be much appreciated:

    Elven Cap Jake
    Bandito Jake
    Muttonchop Jake
    Chef’s Hat Jake
    Officer Jake
    Fancy Hat Jake
    Cheese Wedge Jake
    Pirate Hat Jake
    Wizard Hat Jake
    Fiesta Jake
    Pirate Admiral Gunny
    Slasher Mask Gunny
    Fat Cat Hat Hookbot
    Super Top Hat Hookbot

All we know about them is that they appear either after the rat and skull levels, or via an achievement (not "collected 200 coins" or "bought 10 items", it is probably something like "beat 5 developer scores")

Slasher Mask is beating Skull as any character.
Pirate Admiral is probably for beating Rat.
Chef's Hat, Pirate Hat, Wizard Hat, and Fiesta are unlocked by beating local developer scores in multiples of 6.
I thiiink Super Top Hat is unlocked by beating Skull or something as Hookbot. I want to say Fat Cat Hat is for beating Rat as Hookbot. Not sure on that one, either.
Cheese wedge is actually for beating the 2nd Rat level as Jake.
Fancy Hat is for having someone send you a Challenge, and then beating their Ghost in that Challenge.
I believe all the others are received for some sort of unlock batch related to buying shop items.

I'm not super clear on these, you'll have to test them out. We lost track of all the hats, and don't really have time to look them up for awhile.

Thanks for the information! We are going to start the guide ASAP, but we need to find out if we know how to get every hat.
On a side note, I just finished a complete achievements guide for Hook Champ! It includes every achievement unlockable to date! Also, in update 3.5, were more Achievements and hats added? Thanks here's the link: http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?p=832160#post832160

I would love it if you posted this as your official achievements guide somewhere! That's a bit far-fetched, but I would love it none-the-less. Also, could you post this guide with the hat guide, wherever you plan to do that?

Random question but... why does Hookbot produce bubbles underwater?

Yeah, I have plenty of time on my hands...

It's probably air escaping his vent or eye.

That's a great achievement guide? I'll update the blog this weekend with it and the HC fan art. I really also need to update the page, too, so there's space for these things.

Update 1.35 is up on iTunes connect, but as far as I can tell it's not actually out on iTunes. Odd. Anyway, when it is out, I hope it's helpful to people with lag issues. If not, we have another fix we can do lined right up. This has been really hard to track down, just because of how few people actually have the lag issue.

Okay, makes sense to me, haha. I really don't know why I posted that question...

Why is that a question? Thanks for the compliment, though. Sounds great, I would love it on the blog.

Oh, that stinks... I could beta test if you guys need any more beta testers. In 1.35, there aren't any more achievements added, right?

I have no idea why there was a question mark at the end of that sentence.

No new achivements in 1.35, it's a bugfix update primarily. We can put some new ones in 1.4, I think.

Oh, here's something to put in the achivement guide: What all the achivements add up to in terms of total OpenFeint points!
