NICE TRY. Oh, I forgot something above: If we go through with the EXCLUSIVE HATS for purchasing the new game on the first day, we certainly wouldn't extend this to the first week. What we could do is extend it to 48 hours. Maaaybe 72, but probably 48. We'd of course make sure to get the word out as much as possible, so no one following us missed it. I'm thinking 4 different FOAM hats, including at least one of those We're #1 Giant Foam Hands. Those are great.

Madness! The Qpawn mystery, huh? I'm guessing Qpawn... IS YOU! As for the animated hats idea, sounds like a great idea, but one thing that's getting me really frustrated is all these content updates for more things to buy, but no content updates to receive coins. Sure, I get 1,000 gold for completing the hatbox levels, but that sure doesn't balance out all the hats and the 9,000 coins worth for hooks. There should be a minigame after the whole game is complete, where it's a long level, and it's a time trial game, and to add more time, you must collect more coins. Something like that. Maybe a bonus map that is the "Poodle Idol" that has loads of coins and gems. Poodles always reminded me of being rich. All I know is that there needs to be an update that balances out the shop content and the amount of coins collected. Think of it this way, a good amount of the maps have a max of about 68 loot, and after beating the ENTIRE GAME, I still have like 20,000 coins worth of loot I need to buy. That means I would have to get the maximum amount of coins on a map 295 times. Each map takes around 3 minutes to complete. That's 885 minutes, which is about 15 hours of playing the same few maps over and over. THAT'S MADNESS!
It was worth a shot. I'm guessing that qpawn really will be you, or someone that is super-good, or something anti-climatic like that... But who knows, maybe we will all be surprised.
Qpawn effing addz meh z0mg! Woah, I opened Hook Champ, and a messaged poped up saying that I had a pending friend. I was like, wtf I don't have any friends(jk I'm epic) and I opened up Openfient and it was qpawn WTF? That means that qpawn is most likely among this thread, or atleast he reads it, because I didn't post my Openfient name to any other place... Oh, I also checked his username, he has around 76 friends, 99% of which "last played Hook Champ", he has 26 games that have Openfient, so he probably isn't a bot, but he might have access to the Global Highscores. The mystery unfolds!
I got a friend request from him yesterday too. I felt special. I was like, The legendary Qpawn wants me on his friend's list?? Sweet!
sorry i'm a bit slow in joining this thread but a cool idea would be to allow us to take a look at the whole level as a map before going through it. like swipe to pan and just have a good sense of what path your gonna take idk also, what happens if you beat the #1 local score? cause i did it and nothing happens, or do you have to do it for every level in a set?
It's really just a plot by qpawn to take control of our minds. It starts out as a friend request, and then... You don't want to know.
I think there's 1 or 2 achievements for getting 'x' local scores [not 100% sure] and you unlock a couple hats after beating 'x' local scores as well.

Don't feel too special, everyone who has hook champ is friends with him (almost). Anyway I hear he's not much for conversation, guess it wasn't in his program code
Ok on Silver Hat, at 61%, there's lava on top and bottom, and I can't see anything to grapple onto, am I missing something?
