I'm pretty sure that provenance no longer runs NES games..(due to apple license) Sort of a deal breaker for me.

 

I'm on 8.3 and Provenance works fine. Did you get it through builds.io?

 

Install nestopia and then add your own NES games. Also provenance allows nes games.

 

Nobody should buy this. The developer is a scumbag, simply put.

He or she is profiting off of open source code they did not write. The emulators used strictly state you cannot sell them in their licenses. Not to mention it's a clone of Provenance which has a similar license, due to the code it uses.

TL;DR This should be free, the developer is basically stealing code and selling it as their own.

That's strange. I just went to iemulators website and NES isn't listed as a supported platform under provenance.

Also, if this is the exact same code, does that mean that provenance also supports mFi controllers? I don't see controller support info listed anywhere on provenance 's webpage

You were warned about 8.3 ! Be interesting to see what the dev can/can't do. Yiu mentions playing Metal Slug. Why sont you just buy Metal Slug from Dot Emu?

 

Yeah was expecting the worse, but due to its popularity, and if it hits the front page of the top stores im sure the devs will give this an update, since they're making/Raking up the money.

I just want this to play gba games, since already have flappy for SNes.

 

Does gba4ios still work on 8.3? Or just $10 for a variety of emulators from builds.io which all work on 8.3

Easy to say now but if you want emulators don't uograde to the latest OS as Apple are always looking at ways of shutting these emulators down

 

I doubt this app will ever be updated. In fact I bet it will be removed from the app store within a week like all of the other emulators.

 

Seriously though if you want metal slug buy it to support the dev

Shame when peope try and get those types of ganes for free

 

To be fair, if you're willing to pay for this you may as well pay for a license to the buildstore and get all the emulators without a jailbreak or date trick
