Ohhh avp by capcom right? That is hands down the best brawler I've ever played. I am not sure that works. I think it won't? I'm guessing those are arcade games that would require mame of some sort? I'm probably not the best person to answet that question sorry! I would love to play avp as well
Wow glad I got this in time, I hope I can roll back to 8.2.. If i roll back, install all the roms id ever want then update back to 8.3 would it work ok?
This is crap, I updated from iOS 8 to 8.3 a few days ago and now this is out and you can't use it? Wow genius!
I'm on 8.1 and i regret not going to 8.2 only for minor things. For instance on 8.1 there's a stupid glitch that won't let you reorder the icons on the "more options" screen like Gmail / snapchat etc. However I'm definitely not going to 8.3. Now I'm not even sure if I want to keep buying iphones if I'm locked out of it almost completely. Makes jailbreaking seem more important than ever.
Word of Caution I attempted to downgrade from 8.3 to 8.2 last night, and I encountered a lot of issues. One of it is that the Call Logs do not work anymore (showing -1 and not recording any logs, Recent or Missed), (null) apps being persistent in your storage (took me some time to get rid of it), as well as Safari freezing up on you when you click Bookmarks. Grr.
Apple still signs ios 8.2, so download the .ipsw file for your device, connect your device to itunes, and while holding option, click update.. Now select the iOs 8.2 .ipsw file and you'll got the iOs 8.2
Bit drastic. There'll be a new jailbreak soon. Or pay $10 and use builds.io for emulators. Androids great for emulation but not premium games. Only have to look at the games listed in the android section here. 99% of them are dire Spent too much on games to move from Ios. As I say I've got most of the emulators I want with builds.io. N64 is on the way apparently
Can you tell me some more info about builds.io? Is if $10 per year, or just a one time fee? Also, how do you sideload apps with the emulators they provide access too since ios 8.3 nerfed the ability to do so? Thanks!
While I don't have this app a lot of the discussion has been about being locked out of your device which does affect me. I like to transfer saves of games using ifunbox. It is just one of the many things that I use ifunbox for even though I do not have my device jailbroken. I am never going to update this device to iOS 8.3 and I might not get the iPad mini I plan to get now. It is not just what iOS 8.3 does to ifunbox that is making me think about not getting an iPad mini it is what iOS updates in general. iOS updates have broken a lot of good games some of which I have bought. If there is a jailbreak out for future iOS's when I have enough money to get an iPad mini than I might get one if not I am not going to get one. This whole thing has made me think about getting an android device just for emulation and the few games it gets that don't come to iOS.
I've had both ios and android. If I played more games, I'd probably stick with android for its openness. Nothing wrong with liking both systems, don't feel like you have to justify wanting to play around with android.
i had an android phone for a while but went back to ios Do have a cheap android tablet (when I can get it off my daughter!) which is great for emulation but I dont okay normal apps in it There will be a major jailbreak at some pint in the future. If it's not 8.3 they'll wait for ios 9
I'm surprised that this emulator is still on the app store!! Maybe apple will let emulators now after the ios 8.3 lockdown..
thanks a lot chaos!!! i have a couple of questions about this... the 8.2 ipsw must be in a specific folder? can this pocess cause some issues like a downgrade or is it more safe?
