In terms of iOS 8.3 and side-loading, there is one possibility (although I've no idea how well it would actually work). Some apps enable you to access local device back-ups. It's possible to load and amend those files. You could then feasibly restore that back-up to a device, thereby including all the extra edited bits. This would, naturally, be a huge faff and prone to failure, but the theory makes senseat least in my head.
This is totally worth a purchase for the menu music alone! 8bit Mario and Michael Jackson mix. Made my night! Shame I'm on 8.3 though
Barring some of my own critiques, this could be the best emulator app on the app store. I still wish it could be updated with some changes but right now it's simply amazing jist because it works near flawlessly.
MFi controller support is working, granted the buttons don't correspond correctly but they work well enough.
Wow! This is a really great app. I love this feature with the pictures and the controller support! But how can I remove the homebrew games? I have a jailbroken device with 8.1.2.
One thing that I think can be improved is the joystick size. It's maybe a little too big if you're using a 6 or 6 plus. Be great to vary the size of it.
Works great just google " iOS downgrades" for easy instructions. Can confirm .sms roms work (Enduro racer anyone?)
All the different roms go into the same folder, is it a document folder? Is that all there is to it, just drag and drop?
No icade support # I managed to add covers for the roms in the menu but I can't post pics for some reason. For those who don't know - download a jpg of desired rom onto pc and place ABOVE the rom file in documents folder of Homebrew via iExplorer on pc - jpg and rom file must have exactly the same name. Enduro racer.jpg / Enduro racer.sms
Thanks Ass. I saw someone said something about a battery file but I think that was just for saved games. Cheers!
This is working great! So, I removed the included roms from the documents folder. They disappeared from the app, until I added a couple of new games... Now the pre-installed games are back. Any ideas how to completely remove them?
Just any FYI Apple is still signing iOS 8.2 meaning anyone with 8.3 can downgrade to 8.2. The firmware for all iDevices is at http://www.ipsw.me. And you can specify which file in iTunes you update or restore from by holding the option key on mac when you hit restore. Here's a tutorial for Mac and windows http://goo.gl/C4WU43. Apple should sign it for at least a few more days .. Always go at least two weeks since release of most recent version.
I bought it and it rocks! I'll have to wait tho for the ifunbox update. Also if the dev is here pls add Apple TV Support.
I don't think there will be a ifunbox update that will work on 8.3 or later. Everyone better downgrade before apple stops signing 8.2 or else this emulator will be useless to you guys. Apple stops signing things pretty quickly so you guys better no wait.
Yeah, i think so too.. Apple will not remove the ifunbox restriction, so maybe it's goodbye ios for me.....
