Home Button Stuck Down on iPod Touch 4G

Same here, my iPod touch 4g home button is really indented so since getting an iPad I've used the four finger grab type motion to close things down, trying to leave the home button as virginal as possible,
Even noticed that you can use the power button to stop your icons jiggling,

 

Do NOT use Assistive Touch, as it causes problems with apps, such as increased crashing and lagging.

 

You must be using iOS 7 or your device is jail broken. My previous iPhone 4, the 4S & my current iPhone 5 have NEVER experienced a single crash with AssistiveTouch active. I have it ON all the time. (Even now)
