This is a port of a PC game, recommend you check out reviews to see if you'd like it. Kainamor Well-Known Member Dec 17, 2015 196 0 16 #8 Kainamor, Aug 3, 2017 Tess! I have been waiting for this since the day I heard it was coming to iOS! Played this one n PC at friends house all day couple weeks ago. So much fun! hellscaretaker Well-Known Member May 27, 2012 1,098 6 38 Im a youtube gamer/streamer https://www.youtube.com/user/touchgameplay #9 hellscaretaker, Aug 3, 2017 Last edited: Aug 3, 2017 I not yet played this until I get home so let you know on following. Pocket gamer had said the UI Clutter the screen making it hard on small screen. So where people are complaining about it not being universal it maybe only best on iPads taoyingying Well-Known Member Jul 15, 2016 85 0 6 #10 taoyingying, Aug 3, 2017 I was about to ask the same question... The description sounds almost identical to Shop Heroes. Only diff I can see is this one let you set up shop in multiple locations? Art style is different of course (but personally prefer shop heroes style). Anyone played both? Would like to know some detailed comparison. I'm not interested in running 2 shops on one phone Dragan Well-Known Member Aug 21, 2014 365 7 18 Belgium #11 Dragan, Aug 3, 2017 Pocket gamer also rewarded the game with silver recommendation. hellscaretaker Well-Known Member May 27, 2012 1,098 6 38 Im a youtube gamer/streamer https://www.youtube.com/user/touchgameplay #12 hellscaretaker, Aug 3, 2017 You are going to find this game hard on the eyes if you want to play this on a small screen that is indeed very true. You going to need a large screen cause indeed there is a lot going on with the UI with small buttons to press and small writing to read. You going to have problems playing this game on anything smaller than iphone 6. Yet remember this is my impression of the game on the ipad it may explain why its not universal as possible the iphone version UI is lot different from the ipad but thats just a guess. paendamonium Active Member Feb 5, 2014 30 2 8 #13 paendamonium, Aug 3, 2017 Is this game offline? Bizarre! Is this a bug? Must be... I've purchased more games than I can count and I've never asked for a refund, but I may if this isn't resolved very soon. Unacceptable to have to restart every time I press home. hellscaretaker Well-Known Member May 27, 2012 1,098 6 38 Im a youtube gamer/streamer https://www.youtube.com/user/touchgameplay #17 hellscaretaker, Aug 4, 2017 I reached out to the developers asking about the different versions and i was right in what i assumed hear is there response "Thank you for reaching out to us and for your questions. The only difference that exists between the iPhone and iPad version lies in the UI. Because the aspect ratio for both devices differs and the overall size of the screen is different, we had to make two versions of the app. Google Play allows us to consolidate these two builds for android but Apple does not Having said that, we are working on making the iPhone version of the game universal so that it can be played on both the iPhone and iPad, and so that we can bundle both versions together so that people can buy both for the price of one." Absolutely tremendous. b) repeat crash at the point wherein the second annual weapon awards are announced. Glitchy whatsapp, screen freezes, my potatoes disappear and I get an insta-shut down. Before I restart from time zero, anyone else experienced this? Daylight-Studios Member Aug 4, 2017 10 0 0 #19 Daylight-Studios, Aug 4, 2017 Hey guys, my name is Ivan and I am on the development team of Holy Potatoes! A Weapon Shop?! So to briefly explain why the app is not universal, it is due to the fact that the UI for the iPhone version was blown up in size, and it would look terrible on the iPad because it would compromise quality. If you played the iPad version on the iPhone, the UI would be much too small to press on. We tried to make a bundle so you would get both games together, but Apple made it such that we aren't allowed to bundle the games together because one of the apps has to be set to universal. Having said that, we are actively working on making the iPhone version universal so that it can be played on both devices, although the iPad version will be letterboxed (meaning there will be black bars on the bottom and top of the app). The universal version of HPAWS should be live in 2 or 3 days meaning we can also make a bundle of both versions for the price of one (although you will be now able to play the iPhone version on both devices). The app right now does not have an iCloud save feature, as what we are trying to do is make a universal iCloud save feature, where it takes the save file of your iPhone version, iPad version, and Desktop version so you can have the same save files on all 3 devices. This will be implemented in the near future. Also, when the new version goes live in 2 or 3 days, it will fix the issue where if you hit the home button to exit the app the app restarts. The app will no longer restart if you press the home button, so that you continue right where you left off. We really are sorry for all the inconveniences, but we want you all to know we have been working on these issues as soon as we saw everyone's comments in this thread. Thanks for your understanding and patience, we are a small team with very limited resources after all!
