Exactly what I'm thinking =/ You really can't complain about TA days when you weren't there for them.
Candy might have been too nice for this place. I do miss the old gal but I'm also glad she has found a portable device that treats her right.
good point, PhagoCychotic. I joined in Aug, but i have read and known about TA since Nov of last year.
Candy is a nice lady. But she was way too sensitive with discussion pertaining to just about anything. I mean it's a friggin forum on the INTERNET. What'd she expect?
Although I hugely hang in the Lounge a lot. I'm ancient and pawn all those people you mentioned. PS. I liked most of them
I agree with Super, your all newbs... Swap candy for EDNG and then you have a good list... If you weren't here before the Christmas rush of 2008 then you have no clue what "the old TA" really is/was.... And it's a shame really because it was AWESOME
All this basically brings us to one question: Who is now the 'old' generation on TA? Like who has been here, done that, and most importantly, is known by everyone?
Was it Candy or Deb that started (that other site that apparently shall not be named)? I think it was Deb, right? Wait... Candy was the one that posted something personal and this was just...I mean...any site with forums pertaining to an entirely different subject, even if it's a "lounge" where supposedly anything goes, is gonna have some backlash or confusion about such "off the topic of the site" posting. I thought some people went a bit too far in their treatment of her, but she probably should've posted it in a far more appropriate site for that sort of subject matter. She wasn't a bad person, IMHO. She just wasn't cut out for some of the ribbing on this board which does get into juvenile territory once in a while but is all in good fun and not to be taken seriously.
If someone posts something personal, the other posters should either show respect, or just ignore the post.
