Hi, can I get some views on some of the better hidden object games?
They seem to be a little more expensive than other games and I want to make sure I gut my money's worth!!
Is there a certain developer to follow?
    Are the later ones better?
    Any replies appreciated,

I have played six or so and my favorites are Midnight Mysteries: Salem Witch Trials and Escape from Rosecliff Island. The former has a good story and good pretty good gameplay while the latter has almost no story at all but I really enjoyed the hidden object search and mini-games a lot.

Also, you might search for a forum topic on Big Fish Games where there is a bunch of discussion of their titles.

I haven't played Devil on the Mississippi yet, but it is on my wish list (waiting on a sale price) based on early reviews.

Big Fish Games, Mumbo Jumbo, and G5 seem to have the best hidden object games even though some small developers have put out some really good ones, too.

Go to appshopper.com and search for hidden object games. Then, look at the information and check both iTunes reviews and the review sites.

+1 on this advice. Although Big Fish has so many it can be overwhelming. I think Drawn to Life has a lot of universal appeal. Also BFG are usually adventure HOGs. BFG and MJ are generally 5/5. G5 has some great ones, but also some good/ok ones.
definitely want to try and get these on sale unless money is expendable.
