Hi TouchArcade. We're return7. For our "Hello World" post, we thought we'd share that we have made Blipr, our iPhone-to-iPhone messenger, free for a short period of time. Blipr lets you "blip" (send one of 100+ sounds plus a short message) to a friend (or up to 6 at a time). Yep, the usual App Store suspects ("Push Flatulations") are there in terms of sounds, plus a bunch of other cool ones (all hand picked by us ). We plan to add more sounds to the app in the future and to improve it in other ways as well. Tell your friends. You'll probably need a friend to send blips to so you might want to ask another friend to download blipr and exchange IDs (you can just use the share tab to make it easy). Sale ends soon. Not a bad app to embarrass your friends. Only good for sending one liners to your friends, not much of an instant messenger. Would be really sweet if the devs implemented a chat/discussion window in the app itself. Otherwise it's hopeless for sms. Would still recommended it while its free and to play pranks on fellow iphone mates. *******Hey Devs, how does one delete the history?**********
You're right. Blipr is certainly geared toward fun, short messages right now. We'll consider adding conversations in a future release.
