I know what type of game your looking for. Sadly since the prices for games have set a new standard of $10 or lower, the games have less content. Here are some that are great and I know that you would like seeing as I like Legend of Zelda, and Pokemon(Never played Fire Emblem). Payback is a great GTA clone that delivers over 10 hours of gameplay. It is a huge game, and with the update that has the angled camera view and a lower price, the game can't get any better(Unless made 3rd person, of course.). Lite version = YES Puzzle Quest is an awesome port of the console variants and has over 20 hours of gameplay but isn't really the type of game you'd like(I may be wrong though!) It's an RPG with match-3 battle system. It's addictive and a great game with it's most recent update that added an extra 10 hours of gameplay. Lite version = YES Soul Trapper is an amazing audio adventure game that in my opinion has the most best story out of any game made for the iPhone to date. Great voice acting, fun gameplay. Also, not exactly the type of game your looking for but it's still a great game(meant to be played with headphones) with over 5 hours of gameplay with a great engaging story and great characters. Lite version = YES Rolando is one of the most anticipated games of '08 and wasn't a let down for me. It brought great gameplay, amazing graphics, and tons of polish. Its gameplay is similar to Mario but more interactive environment, no killing enemies, more avoiding contact with them, cool physics and over 4 hours of gameplay. Lite version is 1/4th of the full game. Lite version = YES Hero of Sparta is also a highly anticipated game of '08. Smooth 3D graphics and smooth gameplay. Amazing controls for a hack n slash. The game itself is a masterpiece in its own way and is a must buy for $5.99 with over 5 hours of gameplay. Lite version = NO Brothers in Arms is a fantastic third person shooter, purchasers have complained of it's control though. I found the controls perfectly fine after my first mission(tutorial) through the game. The game has insane graphics with lots of vehicles, tons of guns, WWII style gameplay, and lots more. This game offers over 5 hours of gameplay. Lite version = NO These games are some of my most personal favorites. They are all console quality games and each deserve a look.
I am not that kind of gamer. I just didnt see the depth in the game. It was just completely repetitive with not so good graphics.
heavy mach is pretty good too i think there's a light version plus they just added mission 7 and they are adding mission 8 in april each mission has like 5 levels simcity is also pretty fun if your into that kind of game otherwise you may think its boring otherwise warfare inc is a pretty fun game as well
Hey I'd say Payback has a lot of long term quality about it, so does Brother in Arms, as has been states before. I also throughly enjoyed Edge and SimCity, but thosed depend on your taste. good luck in finding a game.
This topic is getting out of hand. He wants to know about long-term games, not just any good game. Kyper and Pocket God for instance, don't qualify to what he wants. He wants a good long game that you make progress in. Not a game like iDracula, not even if you spend over 20 hours on the game.
Inotia, Puzzle Quest, Vay, Fission Quest, Wolfenstein, The Plateau, Blue Attack, Zentomino, Ancient Frog
