Hexaflip will be available on Apple Arcade soon.
In Hexaflip you flip through hexagonal mazes filled with deadly obstacles, avoid hammers, spikes, lasers and more to collect orbs and reach the end! This is a real action-puzzle brain-teaser that mixes timing with thinking.
Flip through beautiful and abstract worlds complemented by an atmospheric soundtrack in an experience brought to life with the highest quality production values. If you are looking for a fun and new, challenging arcade action puzzler, then Hexaflip is the game for you!
• A hyper-casual game with console-quality production
• Simple to play, difficult to master
• Intuitive casual controls--just move left and right to progress
• Gloriously abstract, funky and beautiful graphics
• More than 80 levels spread over six worlds!
Very quick and responsive puzzle gameplay; you can breeze through 20 levels in what feels like 10 minutes. Hoping it'll get substantially more difficult, otherwise, this won't last long.
Looking forward to this game too, alway’s in for some puzzle action.
Very addictive game. It is a bit easy but quite enjoyable. I downloaded 5 Apple Arcade games so far and this is the one I spent the most time playing
I'm absolutely enjoying this game as a quick hit and entertaining diversion.
I love the concept of the game. I was wondering if more levels will be added. ?
This game feels like it started as f2p and some changes were made in the end to fit the Apple Arcade model. I mean, collecting coins is fairly pointless. No one would spend them on continues. It's also on the shorter side at the moment. I went through 3 worlds in one sitting 3-staring each stage (eventually). From the description it's like half of the game already. Still, it plays really well. Controls are responsive. I really like it.
My only complaint is that my iPad got incredibly hot so I went to settings if there's anything I could do about it just to realize it was running with the highest settings enabled and 120Hz refresh rate (or 120fps lock?) by default. I can't take a look which one was that, I'm running battery calibration test ATM Anyway, setting it to 30 made all the difference and my device doesn't heat up at all now. And gameplay is still silky smooth.
I've three-starred through level 45 currently (slightly more than half the game's 80 levels) and, aye, I've not felt compelled to use any coins for continues yet. Some of the levels ARE getting pretty tricky, sure, but the amount of coins you get and the cost of continues (250) is not balanced, IMO; you can't just spam a "continue" to plow through a level (you'll run outta coins too quick), so it's best just to teach your fingers the right way to succeed.
This is my most played game now, mainly bc it has a Leaderboard and I’m going up quickly, I’m now 1369th place, I like that some Twitch hardcore Leaderboard action ha ha, I’m on level 34 now.
The game is great fun to play also, some hectic levels are coming up here.
And looks nice too.
I can’t get past level 62, it’s this section on the picture, dunno if there is something wrong with me [in like not fast enough] or that there is something wrong with this level ha ha ha.The laser beam and the black spikes come out at the same time, I think they should come out at turns, otherwise it’s impossible to past this.
I just completed this level with a video I can upload tomorrow. The key in your screenshot is that the lasers only hurt you in the middle of a flip animation. As long as you’re not flipping, you can actually “rest” on a laser tile and the beam will shoot over you.
Need the video?
No video thanks, you helped me enough, never thought of that myself ha ha, stupid of me.
Got level 62 now, many thanks again, I had deleted the game yesterday, but I liked it so much that I gave it a second go today, but now Gamecenter isn’t working no more, I was around place 220 on it, hope it will be back soon.
Did a reset on my device and Gamecenter is back on, I’m on 251 now by the way, you get more points on a level by flipping to the finish in one go, if you stop somewhere the counter goes to zero, that’s why number 1 has over 16.000 points, you need to replay a lot to get to that score but it’s fun, in one level I had 375 points so it can be done, but it’s hard.
I just 3 orbst every level and clocking in on number 22 on the Leaderboard, number one has double the points, so I have to replay every level a couple of times to get higher.
