Well, they are planning to release episode 1 and see if it will sale well. If it WILL, they will port episode 2
There only seems to be one episode so far, even for PC. I get that you wanna wait for all episodes to come out before you buy, been burned too often myself with incomplete episodic games already - But I still happily take the first part in the meantime. Just hope their sales figures will sustain all further episodes they've planned - Reviews on Steam are mixed after all. Anyway, the game still looks super rad and only one day left to go for the real iOS release date. Hyped
Weird still nothing ... Most games use New Zealand time for release but there it‘s already Friday 15th midday. Mostly anywhere on the world it‘s already 15th or 15th soon, only the US has still some hours of March 14th left. Looks like there will be some kind of (hopefully small) delay. Hope it‘s not too long, they‘ve already released an apparently working version 3 weeks ago. Wonder what‘s the hold up.
I just wrote them (saw they are in China, so there it‘s also March 15th, 8AM already) asking if there’s a delay and if yes what the new ETA was. Let‘s hope the question will be obsolete soon but if not I‘ll let you guys know if and when I‘ll get an answer.
No problem Just got a reply: Thank you for your feedback. To address your question, the publishing date of Heroine Anthem Zero Ep.01 has been postponed until the end of March due to some minor bugs, which would affect the gameplay experience. Thank you for bring this issue to our attention, and we hope you continue to support our game. Best Regards, Global Publishing Team WINKING ENTERTAINMENT CORPORATION — Pity, I liked 14th better than end of March, it‘s a lot vaguer, also 2 weeks+ waiting time again. But if the release really were buggy, it‘s good that they wanna sort it out before. Hopefully they can keep up the ETA this time. But I gotta wonder: Squarezero, you already have the game from the accidental premature release, did you encounter any bugs? Or did @Gwarmaxx ? Ofc this wouldn‘t be representative of all iOS versions/devices but did you guys experience any issues at all?
Thanks for getting some info. I’ve spend more than a few hours with the game and have yet to encounter any major (or memorable) bugs. In general, the game feels very polished. But there could be some late-game issues that I have yet to encounter.
i've played a lot and don't have any major issues, the game works really fine on my 6S with the latest iOS... will see further on, but i'm not playing it a lot atm.
@Gambler i'm back on this and... what can i say... IT'S WONDERFUUUUUUUL!!!!! i've played more or less 5/6 hours, and still have a long way ahead... and it's more metroidvania than i initially thought, that's a good thing, plus the whole story and all dialogues between characters are very hilarious. this is a must buy for all iOS gamers, for sure.
I'm curious how long this game is since it's said it's only Episode 1. Though it's still not out apparently so I wouldn't be able to buy it anyways.
i've played for more than 7 hs and have a nice stretch to go yet... from what i see on the map, there's another unvisited great area ahead, and then i'm going back to some locations where i remember seeing some locked paths... you know, it's a metroidvania style adv/rpg. anyway, it's a masterpiece, a real gem, and besides it has those Ultimate Ghosts 'n Goblins vibes that imo is an excellent thing (i'm a huge fan of all the Arthur's saga by Capcom).
