Clear all apps from memory. Restart device and try again. If this does not work, delete app, reinstall, and then open it. Otherwise, contact their tech team.
Agreed, not waking up to full energy is crazy, would like to see the speed doubled. Or maybe events/times where things are 1/2 energy
