Hey there Fallen, I´m very glad all the characters are there so we can choose our favorites.. I still think it would be a great feature if you would change the characters on the fly... playing a chapter with a team and then another... Its a great game but if the only way to try the different chars is to play over and over again the same part of the story.... thats no good... just my 2 cents...
Thank you for the sale! After picking up Templar Battleforce last week and just LOVING it, I figured I'd grab this one too. =oD Can't wait to get into it tomorrow.
This thread appears to be all but dead ... but I'll post anyway; perhaps the devs are still checking in from time to time ... I purchased the "Elite" version of this yesterday evening on the strength of Shaun Musgrave's "RPG Reload" (re)review of the game ... and I have to say that although I am still toddling along in the first dungeon, I am enjoying this game immensely. The fact that there is so much more content to look forward to (91 dungeons and about a dozen towns - did I get that right?) just makes it better. I am wondering, though, about whether there are advantages (other than just a bit of variety) to purchasing the other four characters: do they unlock new areas, quests, plot twists, etc. ... or are they just an alternative set of faces/skills with which to play through the game? Don't get me wrong - I'm definitely digging the game ... and if the attention to detail, etc. continues as I progress further, I will definitely be throwing some more money at the devs on principle alone. I'm just curious what to expect! Rob
I think it's like Warhammer Quest characters - in that they don't open up new areas, but give you different weapon/equips and skills/talents to utilize in your quest...
Ha... Just finished episode 2 and went back to Templar Battleforce... But after going through the update notes, I might have to try and find time for both over this next week... I really can not praise the Trese Bros enough for the post-release support. I know not every dev team can do it, but that just means that when one manages to, it has a pretty good chance to wind up with something special. =oD
My thanks to the Trese Brothers for their continued work and support for some of my most favourite iOS games ever. Much appreciated.
