    It's great you guys got a review, but I thought it was a bit unfair - he said the game was essentially good except for some parts, and that because of those parts, he couldn't recommend it. But those parts are not major and don't diminish the game THAT much to not recommend it.

    That said, I do agree with some of his points. Dialog gets repetitive and a bit stiff at times - SO many times in the prelude they talk about almost being there and how nice the inn will be. And I agree about the UI with regards to the skill buttons.

    Multiple saves would also be nice. I avoided going down the passages they warned against, but I'd love to go back and try those.

    Also, it seems the lighting/fog of war is buggy. There are times when an area right next to me will be dark while other areas farther away will be light.

    Good game all around though!

    @ArtFoundry - thanks for the feedback and we hope you'll share some of these thoughts on the comment stream of the review. We work hard to update our games, so we will be address some of this feedback (trimming dialog, more editing, speed move is already coming in the next update, and the "more talent buttons" is high on our list now that Quest Log is also coming in the next update!).

    We will take another look at the fog of war, I know the specific types of cases you are talking about, sometimes a square just won't flip over.

    As indie devs - we make our name on being responsive, accepting feedback, and publishing updates. That's the Trese Brothers way. It's too bad the review can't get updated as we go ;)

    Heroes of Steel has just received a big new update on the iTunes App Store. Version 1.1.27 includes response to the hottest points in community feedback, new balancing for Talents, rule corrections, and fixing some of the biggest bugs we've had reported! It's a big one.

    And, we are submitting the next version (also big!) to Apple today for review! Trese Brothers - we keep the presses running!

    - 30% speed increase for characters / monsters
    - Menu button opens Game Menu and Pauses
    - Quest Log available off Game Menu
    - "Long Walk" bugs fixed - Ends combats after "Restore"
    - Enhanced details of Talent + Skill display
    - Ethereal Anguish - AoE starts at Lvl 4
    - Corrected Dual Wielding for Outlander (Light Blades / 1-H Swords)

    I feel it was a fair review. Although I don't agree not recommending it. This is an easy recommendation in my eyes. There's certainly room for improvement, but overall, I've thoroughly enjoyed my time with it.

    @ScotDamn - thanks. We don't disagree - it was a fair review. The latest update (v1.127) which came out last night already starts addressing some of the points in the review. And we'll be hitting more of them in the next update!

    It has taken a long time to get the latest release through the Apple Review queue, but ... at least its massive! This release includes Episode 1 Act 2, which doubles the size of the available content in the game. And yes, Act 2 is available for the original $1 you spent on E1!

    Wow! quite an update and with act 2 included :) was waiting for this to start playing again :)

    I really like most of the changes you did (at least its the kind of improvements that i thought would like while playing... )

    I´ll tell later how well it feels :) ... This is a game that I´ll be playing for a long time :)

    Glad you're enjoying it! We were very excited to put out this massive release and see it finally make it to Apple! Lots of great changes and it doubles the amount of content you got for your first $1!

    We are now working hard on Episode 2!

    Any plans to add icloud support? I'd love being able to play on the go and at home.

    @lousyhero - thanks for asking! We currently support iCloud backing up and restoring games, but not synchronizing between devices. we will be working to add support for Amazon Game Circle, Google Play Services and Apple Game Center this year to enable this advanced feature set!

    @fallen, Im not sure if its me but when I tried to buy Selen it said "Product doesn´t exist in the Apple Store"... I´m not on the US... maybe is that?

    Yeah, I'm having the same problem, it won't let me purchase Selen and I am on the US AppStore.

    Cory Trese told me it is an error on the setup, he is trying to resolve it without a new update... let´s hope he can do it because IOS times are hell :)

    edit: it isn`t like i know him or something, just told me that on the heros of steel forum :)

    Really sorry all, there is a configuration error with the IAP setup for the Rogue that we cannot fix without another update. We are pushing the newest package of changes, new content, and upgrades into a release tonight with the IAP fix and asking Apple to expedite. Since it is releated to a purchasable item, it may be speedy! Fingers crossed!
