rofl... 30 minutes for a 3v3 game on SOLO? I can play 3v3 solo in 16 to 20 minutes depending on the hero im using. But im going to stop playing HOC til gameloft improves stability on their servers. I have 4 talent points to spend, but couldnt because it just times out whenever i save the talents. Back to playing something endless... i guess i'll play Infinity Warrior again... or Verticus.
Because theyre a big company and they have different teams working on their games simultaneously, but they strategically spread their releases over time to maximize profits.
Having online game that need attention for 20mins or 50mins is kinda difficult to attract gamers. I rather use my computer and play.
Currently the 5v5 queue times are 5+ minutes. The Solo queue timed out for me several times on WiFi. Not sure if this is ready for primetime.
So if I go offline to play bots and am not connected to Internet, it says it can't determine free characters and won't let me play. Anyone know if it lets you play offline if you buy the character??
This is broke and stupid. I played and won two games late last night, not recorded. Today it says I'm a deserter at the bottom and will earn 30% less reward, I never quit anything, fine. Finally find a game, lose, gets recorded.....whatever. Spend forever looking for another game, figure ill come back later when the servers get a little better. Just tried again and it says I'm a deserter at the bottom! WTF over!
So you feel if the servers aren't fixed in 12 hours the game is never going to work and is worth giving up on? Ok... I haven't played the game yet and based on the comments will probably give it a couple of days before I jump on. Patience... Gameloft will want to fix this as soon as possible because as a freemium game they aren't making any money unless people are playing. It's not like you paid $7 and there are these problems. It cost you nothing, give it at least 48 hours before you start whining...
If you've grown some passion into a game, having server problems causes one to whine a bit. You cant just tell someone to stop complaining. i do love the game, but it's gotten frustrating. I gave up on the game FOR NOW, til i know they have fixed the servers.
indeed. from my experience gameloft was never great at their online multiplayer server stability (so far), let's hope they manage with this ... looks like it could have some potential ...
Mind you, they're probably getting slammed with all of the press, and since this is the first full release day. Give it a week, and I'm sure it will have mellowed out.
Just looking at the bank, when I click on the purchasable diamonds there are none. Just says product can't be found. They don't have the iap up yet?
The connection is terrible, gems don't get given out that should be, Can't even play single player reliably (I had one game and that's it). At least the game looks half way decent, yet it is rather amusing to have such huge problems. I wonder if they even bothered to do any server stress testing before going live.
This game earned an instant delete when after 25 minutes in a bot match I exited the app to check my mail for 30 seconds while I waited to respawn and came back to find the game was simply gone. That is *not* how you make a mobile app.
Connection issues seem to only exist within the menus. Playing online is fantastic, and runs flawlessly. Theres quite a bit of people that don't understand the basics of MOBA's.. Hopefully in a few weeks the meta of the game becomes more stable.
