If it were only a PC game then they probably wouldn't show it running on an iPad.

As Heroes of loot is one of my favorite games I can't wait to purchase this one. I watched all of the videos. Being able to switch between all of the characters is an interesting twist. It seems pretty seamless on the videos which is great. I like the new levels.

All in all it looks like it's shaping up to be a really worthy successor.

finally some new things to show, a lot of progress has been made just that a lot of that hasn't been visually interesting!
I recorded a new video showing a bunch of the new stuff that has been added or changed in the last few weeks

    You can find it here:

I wrote a bit more details on the new stuff here:

It's now mostly adding a lot of content to make the game big enough for a release,
still a few months of work at least but it's already very playable! ;)

apart from the character-selection, the controls are kept the same as the original game, and I'm closer on getting MFI support up and running for all Orangepixel games, so I hope to have that sorted by the time this game is done (yay!)

I've been doing some live Twitch streams of the development for anybody who is interested in checking it out: http://twitch.tv/orangepascal

A lot of content is being added these weeks, as I hope to have it done in 4-8 weeks from now (but we'll see if that's gonna happen)
From new enemies, quests, and hazards to new area's like these:

and finally working on marketing material - ah the life of a one-man development company! ;)

    some new animation clips!

"mini boss quests" now get a little introduction on the boss, so you can get ready to battle him/her/it:

There is bestiary data, giving you info on how best to approach some of the monsters
and there are magic-spells to unlock, once you found 4 magic books you unlock a spell, this spell will then spawn in your games from that point on (perma-unlock)

all in all development is moving along nicely!
still hoping to have this one done before Summer (so end-May/June)

Omg I'm super psyched to see the new game!
I still play HoL quite regularly, it's lasted on my iPad without deletion from release ....that's a huge deal because I download/delete like crazy!
A mad woman with a short attention span, naaaa it's just that good of a game ;)
Can't believe your a single person, that's a lot of work in a relativly short time, for just one ....amazing !
I love the new features ...such a good idea having a beastiary type database ...oh and I love busy work/quests ....I think quests and things like that make a huge difference and give the game good replay.....I'm strange and like Grindy type quests/collecting ...lol
Hope to see this soon....can't wait!

I've been re-working the interface the last few days.
Cleaning up the statusbar and dialogs, messages, etc.

but also adding new quests and various nice scenery like these big statues:

The game is currently comparable to Space Grunts' size, and much bigger than the original Heroes of Loot, and I'm not yet done!

I'll be opening up the game to pre-order and early-access on the PC version (windows, osx, linux) coming weeks, and then I hope to have all the final bits and pieces and anything that comes out of the player feedback, fixed and done by early June for the official release on iOS,Android and PC.

fingers crossed I'll make that deadline!
until then, some more screens to keep you interested - I hope ;)
