No mfi controller support # Same here. Was looking forward getting this game, but i had to check the forums for confirming mfi support first.
Yep.. I love maps.. It happens.. I've bought games for crazier reasons.. In other words, I looked at the mapping system in the trailer, and having played Space Grunts and knowing what he does with maps, this game was an instabuy.. Then, no map was there, and I was like?? You should see me on Vacation, I only update my passport so that I can go somewhere and use a new MAP.. I love maps, I tell ya..
haha.. well.. at 42 years young, you and I probably have something in common there.. I was listening to a podcast with Butterscotch brothers (guys behind Crashlands) the other day, and one of them made mention that the FIRST thing he does when firing up a game is check to see what's in the settings.. I share his view on that, totally.. I think a gaming experience is make or break, often times, depending on what options are available to the user in the control panel...
I'll be 50 in December, and I'm still gaming! Yeah, I guess I forget to check sometimes now. Certainly I've always gone to settings with console games, but on iOS there are so many titles I play it just slips my mind. When I was thirteen I'd get five dollars for the weekend and head straight to Silver Ball Arcade on Durant ave just above Telegraph in Berkeley...it was half pinball machines and half arcade. Unbelievable time for coin op machines, Donkey Kong, Pac Man, and as the years passed, Street Fighter, Hang On with the leaning sit down bike controls, Zaxxon, Qbert, Phoenix etc. fond memories! Sounds like you have them too! Cheers
Could not agree more with you, I'm playing as much a possible. Got up to dungeon 20, still stand by my criticism but don't get me wrong it's still a great game! With a few tweaks, map and a little default speed tacked on the ALL the characters would do wonders! #
I'm playing it non stop too! Level 20!? I salute you! We are lucky here on Toucharcade....having a dialog with developers is a real treat. Pascal has always been kind about responding, im sure he takes our feedback as intended. And I always make sure too to express appreciation, it's amazing what small developers accomplish.
Absolutely! And about the arcade stuff, i wont highjack this thread to comment, but lets just say you brought back some fond memories!
Haha. I thought I was the only one who did that. At one point I would spend like five minutes perusing the options menu. I have to give myself a time limit so I won't waste all of my playing time just adjusting the game settings before I even play the game. This obsession goes back to my days of PC gaming and tweaking all of my graphic settings for like five minutes.
Items Hey TA, New to this game completely and am enjoying it. I apologize if this has been answered already but I saw nothing in the first half dozen pages so I'll ask... What the heck do items do and how can I use them? I have collected runes, idols, and shields but is there a description of what they do or how to use them? Thanks in advance folks.
I plan to add an inventory screen in a future update, where you can find info on items but also swap them between characters.. for now, it's grab and try Explore! adventure!
This is great to hear, and considering I simply smashed the buy button the moment I saw it has released I am still now even more excited to finally play it tomorrow for the first time! Thanks for making amazing games that focus so well on the gameplay experience! You understand what makes a great mobile experience and are a big reason I like playing on iOS so much!
Would really like to see this addressed as well. Games or apps that get their names cut with "..." always feel unpolished. To be fair that's an OS limitation and not the developer's fault but it's really simple to fix with shortened titles on launch icon as many other developers do.
