yeah but that's not a bug, so that's why I check on each mention of a quest-problem some of the guys at gates are Mimics
No Key I had a no-key situation last night. Started a new game with Wizard/Warrior. It dropped me in a small 3-room dungeon with a locked iron gate blocking the final room w/ the exit. After clearing each room of every enemy and smashable object there was absolutely no key anywhere. Only thing I could do was quit, thankfully it was only the first dungeon!
I had this happen to me twice already but sadly wasn't in the first dungeon. No key anywhere. Only solution was quitting my progress with no reward.
there's one "unclear" quest with the wizard that requires you to light some candles tho.. in the next update I made sure there is now a little dude in the dungeon hinting to what to do might have been that ? we'll never know!
Is the next update hitting this week? I am not being greedy as I can't believe this already has two updates and it's only been out a week. I'm more just curious and impressed!
not sure yet, but it's possible. All I wanted to add is in it, and I'm now doing some testing, so if that goes right, I can release it and for anybody interested in what's going on and into the next update you can follow my todo list over here: https://trello.com/b/CXvtd5lT
Is anybody getting their progress impeded by an old man that says that a key is needed to open the door even though a key is in the inventory?
I've had a key in my inventory and had that happen. I've been able to find the needed key by clearing out the dungeon. Kill all monsters, destroy all chests etc.
Not sure how I'm just noticing now and am sure this has been asked, so apologize, but... Under the XP bar there are, what look like, three things that can light up. What do those signify?
I ran into an invisible wall yesterday. Creeps couldn't get through it and neither could my character. Had to reset my game because of it. If levels would reroll, say with equal difficulty (amount of rooms/monsters), this would be a lot less problematic.
those 4 "Afterlife" shards you can collect turn into one of those lights, you can have up to 3 of them each one is a "continue" so when your health-bar runs, it refills (a white flashing afterlife icon appears full-screen)
next update seems to have removed most and maybe even all cases of those invisible wall bugs coming probably early next week
Oh, great! Now I play fine with touch, but with a MFi controller... A suggestion: if you will succeed in support (but I'm 100% sure you will do), it would be nice if we could set the analog sticks's dead zone.
Ahhhh got it. Thanks. And thanks for the update on the update. Now I can stop checking the app store in hopes of a surprise haha.
it's working already, and deadzone and full interface things are already in since the first version! the game already had full-controller support build in since the same code also runs on Steam and AndroidTV devices.. I just never had the hardware to test MFI support (my old iPad pro 2 couldn't work with mfi-controllers) so that was disabled for ios
