it will be harder to reach higher rank levels tho, you'll eventually need to actually reach level 10+ then 20+ and 30+ depending on your player-ranking level. so yeah if you want to quickly grow your first levels in rank, then just "short" sessions of 10 levels will help with that. altho it does increase based on your dungeon-level.. and in v1.0.5 you get even more bonus points per 10 dungeon-levels.. so reaching level 5 would give you almost half a level-rank
you can have up to 3 Afterlives .. which would be pretty impressive to complete (maybe I should make that an achievement!) also all magic spells, like Protectus, will becomes stronger if you upgrade the magic spell (find all 4 pieces again), you can upgrade each spell 3 times. And of course the Wizard's magic skills increase the usage also and more than that of someone like the Elf
And thanks for the feedback ! Yea I'll just grind out till like lvl 3 or something then resume my regular play =p
Ooh! So if I have the Wizard grab the scrolls I get greater benefit out of them? Makes total sense but not something I might have considered in the heat of battle, ha. Hero cards are looking great!
Yes! Also thanks for letting us know how to level up faster . I haven't made it past level one because the game is confusing to me on what the items even do and which help me permanent. The afterlife items would be amazing if they were harder to find and permanent as well or just lasted longer. Taking it slow here as well because I want the game to last longer and not get burnt out fast. I've bought three of your games this week as plan on buying your 3ds game as well
Thanks for the great game. Can't stop playing since the release. I'm a long time gamer and I've tried almost 2000 IOS games over the years and Orange Pixel is one of my all time favourite Indie Dev ever. Thanks for asking a fair price for an amazing game in an era of easy/lazy/iap consumable games. Ps : Space grunts rules.
Darn! Twice now I've ended up on dungeon levels that don't have a way out....one did not have a key, and the other I didn't have all the runes to open the gate....no way to backtrack, so had to quit both. That said, I play a lot, so two times isn't so bad.
I've had that happen once - no key. Now that really is retro gaming, ending up in an unwinnable situation where you have to quit!
details on what the quest was (was there a guy at the gate, what did he say, etc) might help fix such bugs
Can't really remember now, but I'm pretty sure it was a missing key. I'd killed everything and there were no runes or switches or idols or hidden rooms or anything else, so I had nothing to do except circulate around the empty forest. No disaster - I love this game!
It happened to me too in my very first mission. There was a guy at the door sayingI had to find a key. Nothing left to destroy anywhere, no key to find. But suddenly, by pushing and pushing the guy, I got a message of quest completed and the key appeared out of nowhere, the guy disappeared and the gate opened. Does this help?
