The card battles is one of the few places that text is an image instead of native. I'll put that on the backlog to fix up! Working on adding more post-release content now. I'll try to mix up the scenarios a bit more - but I will have to admit they will probably still be largely conflict heavy. Very surprising to hear this! Most of the beta testers and convention attendees loved getting to a card battle. I will admit it is a bit clunky and am working on speeding up animations, allowing the skipping of animations, and adding additional notifications for certain effects. I'm also planning on adding a "high difficulty" mode for those that fell it is too easy or short. Interesting - I'll have to look at my analytics to see how others are doing. I would actually say you don't want one single high stat - all to often that single high stat may not be available to you in story-choice or combat. But I'll look this over as well! So for the card game - I will agree on this and have added it to the backlog! For the stories, the stat roll was done this way to be a game-within-a-game. Although, I am considering adding an "easy" mode that displays the type of stat you will test for a story. I think this is a well-done critique - thank you! And I'll be the first to say that Sorcery! is certainly higher quality in both the writing and artwork. I'll continue to add more content, fixes, and features!
