    Game Impressions

Nice graphics, and a game engine that's begging for more than a dull, freemium-hobbled wait-a-thon/grind.

Can't speak to the dull part -- that's one man's opinion. But wait-a-thon? Nonesense.

Why couldn't it just cost $0.99 at least? Was pretty excited for it in the midst of my D3 addiction when I saw that it was coming tonight on PocketGamer. Then, I came over here and saw that it was another freemium dungeon crawler. Looks good enough to try at least..as long as it's nothing like DH3. Interface and graphics look nice.

Your contention has no basis in fact -- that's what I meant.

Definately looking forward to more impressions on this. It looks great, but, again, I hate the whole freemium model so want to be sure before I clear out 400+ MB of space for it -- free or not.

playing through the first mission now and already have an idea of how its going to play out and here are my facial impressions...

    BAD BITS

no multiplayer = sadly mad face
no visible gear change = sad face

    GOOD BITS

better than dungeon hunter 3 = ecstatic face!
rare items to find = happy face
tap each swing to have a stronger hit = happy face
power buttons or swipes = happy face
    free = slightly happy face
    nice graphics = happy face
reminds me just a little bit of titan quest = half a smile face

    MEH BITS

freemium = scrunched up head slapping face
Defiant Games = Finger tapping face, ski safari is still awesome but no updates and same company, so suspect on any updates coming for this.
level up by dungeon completion and not exp = WTF FACE?

Uhm can't actually go to the next quest when you want and have to wait = were they serious? this is a mental development decision.

    IMPROVEMENTS NEEDED

Get rid of the waiting time yesterday, what games of this genre make you wait like farm ville ???????????

put in multiplayer, should have been done at start really
needs an archer class, and a good mage not just a bad one thanks, but only after multiplayer.

You know you like my faces.

At least you liked my faces! :D

generally speaking for a free game its actually quite a steal even with the annoying niggly bits that need taken out, i'd definitely say download and try it can always delete if its not your sort of thing. :D

^^ Thanks for the impressions. I for one would have gladly paid $3-$5 or even more if it's a fabulous game. The freemium thing just kills me. The waiting time thing is going to be especially annoying and I'm not going down the IAP road.

WTF do games like this have to be ruined by freemium. I want to pay for a full game period.

Well, you get a wider audience of people when you make your game free. I know I don't like freemium games at all, however, the rest of the iOS customers out there that aren't in TA, love free games. It doesn't matter whether they're free or freeMIUM. That's a reason why Gameloft isn't afraid of using the freemium method. Most of my friends think Gameloft games look amazing, but won't buy it at $7.

    *sigh* Poor peoplez theze dayz.
