The IAP is there only if you want to support the developer with a donation. As far as I can see from previous posts, there are ads that give small rewards but they’re completely optional.
I'm sorry to read that. Back then, we designed Heroes and Merchants in such a way that nobody has to watch ads. You only get small rewards through the advertising, but they are not game-deciding. All kinds of items and materials can be obtained in reasonable amounts even without ads. Last year we added IAPs at the request of the community. These were worked out together with the players. It was important to us that there were no game advantages. They are purely supporter packages with which you can skip advertising for a certain period of time.
We are currently sorting through the improvement suggestions and ideas from the last few months to plan the next patch. We want to focus on playing comfort and variety. I am trying your game, but with the notch i cannot see gold and one other ressourse on top of my phone.
May I ask what iPhone are you using? The problem has not been reported yet. Would it be possible for you to take a picture of it showing the notches hiding the status bar at the top and send it to me via email [email protected] or pm?
