Really liking the new vs and siege modes, fantastic update for free could have easily been paid. I've had tons of play time out of this game.
Yeah I'm also still getting crashing at the beginning if a game, but its better later in the game. I'm on iOS 6

Ffs. Some dude dc'd before the game started so he wasn't there during the match. I waited like 2 mins then forfeit, thinking nothing would happen. But boom I lose like 47 RP and gain 1 loss on my record
Awesome update. I'm loving this game. However icloud still doesn't sync between my devices. I got 2 separate icloud saves. I want to know if I'm the only one this is happening to
lol evil victory wasnt easy though. does seem like it needs a bit of balance, I really got lucky with the win.
Depends on opponent I find. I've won a few as evil (and have yet to lose!) mainly by holding back and using units that I hate to face as defense.
With the ranger skill elven arrows, has anyone saw the use in archers? I summon a bunch as him just because I have the skill, but I don't know if its helping. Also, the treeman is my favorite special unit. Like a giant, but better.
When you activate it, archers have blue fire on their shots. Its quite a good ability. No reward. This might change though, but we're not sure. Its purpose right now is to be like a skirmish mode/practice mode for versus. The most realistic scenario is that we'll add 5-10 scenarios that you'll beat, maybe earning some crystals as you go on... mind you thats not what is going to happen, just something we're thinking about.
Love the ranger, but can't warm up to the Mage. I want to like it, I don't know what it is. Maybe because it feels like the screen is too congested? Takes up a lot of room and the smoke limiting visibility further. For the ranger, though, the abilities seem a bit eh. Love the character, but the wall archers still seem a bit useless few stages or minutes into the game. Would like him to be able to buff some more... and I know I'm nitpicking, but his hat makes him look like Santa's elf, not badass elven ranger haha. Thank you for the update! Super Bowl what?
Don't like the evil side of siege mode at all. I am having a very difficult time balancing money, population and units. I spent 10 minutes letting a paladin smack me up and down the battlefield and I wasn't able to take a single step. Maybe I could develop my armor some more, but when the hero (AI) spawns a wall full of archers, 6 blunderbusses, 2 battalions of peons and pikemen within the first 2 minutes of the game, I find little hope that jacking my armor up +3 is going to help. I'll probably leave this alone for a while. Not even a little fun for me.
We might add an option to disable Mage smoke... we had an internal discussion about that I personally like it As for Ranger... he's probably the most imbalanced hero in the game, especially Elven Arrows Remember, you may be used to level 30 heroes, and might not remember what level 1 abilities feel like Trust me though... Ranger is a really solid hero.
The smoke is cool, maybe just less of it or make the Mage a bit less chunky! And you are probably right; I'm panicking at level 5 ranger. Hopefully he'll grow into his abilities as the levels progress and he loses that silly hat along the way. I am very happy that there is some physics to his shooting, and the arrows don't fly like ballistic knives, especially at longer distances - it feels more natural this way. But on the same token, it wouldn't really be possible to have his crosshairs target-confirm like the Engys, which I really like from the update.
