Do runes have a random chance of dropping? Also is there more powerful runes u can find and stuff? Loving this so far!

Foursaken just knows how to make great games, I don't think there's a dev on the App Store that has a better technical prowess , their games are great looking yet fluid and crash free...and it's not just eye candy, the games very deep and well thought out with tons of longevity...slightly to early to say 100% but I'm leaning towards calling this one the best I've played on ios...

They really should give seminars and training on how to make an ios game!

One a side note, any plans to add item drops, weapon/armor at all ?

Fantastic game, how is it these guys can come up with controls that are an order of magnitude better than the big releases worth millions? My kingdom for controls like these in something like minecraft for example.

This is a fresh game and is just plain fun right from the get go. They don't need to hold your hand, you just sorta jump in like you have already played it. I love the battling, hell it feels better than Skyrim in a lot of ways. These guys really made something special, looking forward to getting totally comfortable with the controls and beating the crap out of the incoming hordes...

Nice surprise, I love how at any random time an iOS game comes right out of left field and knocks it out of the park.

Wow guys, this kind of feedback is just... blowing us away! :D Nothing better than just seeing people enjoy your hard work :)

And don't worry, we're listening to ALL comments, and we'll take another look at balance. However, keep in mind balance is definitely a tricky thing in a game like this that DOES require some strategy and tactics... we want to be careful about tweaking balance too much initially as people are just getting used to the game. We have successfully beat the game with all 3 heroes, so I know its possible! :p I'm not saying its not too hard, mind you, just saying we're going to wait a bit to make any real balance changes.

Also getting a solid "build order" can help out too. Post what stage you're having trouble with and I can throw some suggestions out!

I also noticed some people mentioned how weak peons were :p If you've invested in Peons, I can't stress how important a Battle Academy build is! Arming your Peons with swords and shields to do a little extra damage is crucial. Other than that their purpose is strictly to absorb damage, taking it away from your hero and walls. Its funny actually... on paper they just seem worthless, but I found that I absolutely could not beat later levels without a healthy dose of them taking some of the pressure off... otherwise you've just got a huge horde beating on your walls :p

    One more request please

    Hi there,

I'd like to ask for one more thing if I may: the option to disable to camera bob when the character moves. Kinda makes me a bit dizzy. As I walk, the screen moves up and down with him to simulate motion and it's a bit much for me. lol. Thanks for reading.

My tactics so far ( first 6 levels) are something like this, start by upgrading the gold mine twice then get some archers or gunners, while I run around and take out the few enemy's that are walking around, then it depends I either go for the castle turret things or start throwing out peons,
Once everything is under control I fill my walls up with gunners, save up for 40-50 peons, spawn them and use my special move that attracts all the enemy's and chop chop chop they all die :D

Well it doesn't always work that way but that's what I aim for

Peons are my go to unit hahaha. I do have them maxed though.

I hide behind them when there are strong enemies around and once they've engaged I run around the flank of the engaged "bad guy" and waste them.

They're also essential if sending out Pikemen imo. Even though pikemen look to be wearing heavy armour they don't seem to last more than peons.

I also hate how it takes so long for the Paladin and engineer to kill things, in both cases 3 hits with each hit sending them flying and you having to run after them. I got both of these classes to 3 and have lost interest. Yes I realise they will both be crazy powerful once they have their buff skills maxed or close.

Level 12 on my knight though and having a blast.

Managed to get online games going now and it's hard but fun.

I would also say this is Game of the month.

This game is awesome! I think the balance and challenge is great. Please don't make it easier, easy games are boring. Im going to be playing this for a long time and am looking forward to endless mode, multiplayer, awesome updates.....I'm blown away this game is only $2.

One possible suggestion I have, the "under attack" warning should be for enemy melee attacks only if that would even be possible. I keep thinking a enemy has passed my defences and keep turning to check the wall every time an arrow hits it and the warning sounds. I'm sure it's not even noticeable in the later levels when there's dudes everywhere.

    BUY THIS GAME!

Loving this game! There's nothing like being out in the heart of the battle controlling everything, awesome feeling! Great job!

Trying to play co-op and it seems a little buggy. I tried to join 3 times and got the same match with the same guy 2 times in a row, when the game started he was nowhere to be found and I was overrun within 30 seconds! LoL. The third time I got matched with someone different but the game crashed right when the game started, and I didn't see them either. I'll update if things change. Gonna go try again!

    5 star review otw!

Paladin is pretty cheap hiding behind upgraded peons while healing them and buffing their muscles. Battle Academy is icing on cake.

I personally like the Knight coz i like to be in the thick of battle. He works well with peons too if you have taunt, to protect your peons. Til you can crank out them armor piercers.

We'll look into multiplayer matching some more. I know there can be a slight delay for both players spawning (one player spawns, the other spawns like 2 seconds later), so watch out for that... but as for the other issues, we'll check them out (everything seemed to work find for me last night).

Also, I hate to pull out the indie card :p but please, if you're enjoying the game and know of other who would like this type of game, help us spread the word! :D

Yeah definitely... I think once you realize you can't use the heroes the same way, you can really start to dig in and see that each hero is just as powerful in their own right. Well, knight still might be a little OPed, but its hard to tell if its that hes actually overpowered, or just easier to use.

I say easier to use but at the cost of no special ability to cut cost on buildings or units like the other two

  18. There's only one hint I would change with this game, and that is instead of a store that pops up and u buy things how about u get to walk around the keep interior and buy he things from a recruter for troops and masons for towers and a doctor for u. Also some npcs that stand around and talk about the hard times... So it feels like a place worth giving ur life for...
