Crit causes the attack to AE on an Engy. That alone makes it worth maxing. 260x1 is great, but 200x8 is better.

I can vouch I have encountered the same possible bug when allocating SP to crit. A few times at different levels the number wouldn't go up, so I spent my points elsewhere. After gaining another level or so, I could raise it again. Not sure if that's a bug, or maybe there is a cap of how high the crit can be corresponding to level or damage, but seems more like a bug since the plus sign to raise the skill is there.

Crashes are so frequent now that it really limits the game to the point of unplayable for me (both endless and coop). I'm afraid to do certain things like going to the the back field to clear the cats, or using explosives. If the update fixes all these crashes, that in itself is major bonus. But I'm a little afraid that with so much new content crashes will still be there. Would be a shame if a VS match ends up with one side crashing.
Speaking of endless, scoring/ladder needs a drastic change. I can last forever doing nothing or get 10 trolls killed in 15 minutes going all out. Sad that the former outranks the latter.
That'll change with update. You can only stack 3 repairmen , and get penalized for doing nothing. There will also be new leader boards (version 2).
Really enjoying this game and it's a refreshing change from games that aren't a challenge. This a major reason I like Foursaken games. They are a challenge and involve thinking and strategy. Right now I'm concentrating on getting all my heroes levelled up to a respectable rank. Therefore I'll be able to get into some good co-op games. I find when joining co-op, if players see a low rank they get scared off and disconnect. Which sometimes is a little biased because I can play well even at a low level.
They do not leave because of your level. You've got iTouch4 and for example when you're connected to game with iPhone 5, connection is lost. Fixed in update (submitted to Apple on Monday)
The crashes aren't any more frequent now than they were on release day. It's one bug that happens when certain enemies are on the screen together. Co-op is tough because of all the drops, but endless should be very predictable and totally playable until about 15 minutes into the game.
Agree totally. The scoring needs to be based on 'waves' survived or total kills or something more tangible than time survived. Time shouldn't be the barometer.
Not really. There are more than one occasions where the game crashed the moment an enemy catapult rock hits my Blunderbuss line. Also the timing of crashes vary a great deal, not just at 15 min mark or when a particular enemy occurs.
