As I've maxed out all my skills with pally, I'm starting to wonder what good allocation would be for the rest of his levels (points). But I'm particularly interested in how much armor is necessary to avoid knockdown by the two hander guys - the ping ponging is a bit much sometimes, haha. Anyone know the value?
I wish Foursaken can allow us to reallocate stats (most other games have that built in). It allows to experiment with diff build to find the optimal formulae for your personal style. I beefed up my level 88 Eng's run to over 10 secs, which allows me to run across the entire field non stop and cover both ends easily.
Happened to my knight too. The only way I was able to fix it was that I accidentally loaded a very old save from iCloud. >_< I've since regained all my progress, but t wasn't exactly how I preferred for that to get fixed. Also of note: when Foursaken emailed me about it, they asked if I used the same rune on multiple characters. I had originally used the same rune, +damage, which was the degraded stat, on both my knight and eng. I then removed the rune from my eng to test out a few others, and later when I switched back to my knight I noticed his damage star had been reduced. Perchance it's caused by swapping runes on other characters?
Pally seems to have better stats... Well a lot better. However, engy has range, which might be great help in pvp mode I guess?
Talking about endless: As Paladin I train 2 captains (not to exploit but grups often splitts) and rest pikemans. Dead pikemans are replaced by cleric because they take less population and well - they are special unit that I can spend my money on. Is it good to send back some pikemans or replace them all with cleric? Well, I know it is better to send some pikemans back. Cleric seems pretty unkillable - big orc and troll deals damage and knocks it so far away that if there were more clerics, they should heal the damage. Anyone tried to have max clerics? BTW I don't believe it is best to have all clerics, there will be better mixes with them but I am interested in this theory.
Almost 1500 ratings on the App Store already... Bug Heroes "only" has about 2000 even though it's free. Congrats guys and here's hoping for some awesome DLC in the future! With my new strategy of spamming pikemen with Paladin I'm blazing through the campaign finally (level 19 & 20 were easy that way)
I've tried max cleric and wasn't impressed. They'd do well paired with riflemen I guess but if you can get that far in regular campaign you can beat it otherwise anyways. Might pair well with archer and Mage in coop tho, especially if archer can armor pierce.
so I did a search and could not find a detailed explanation on how experience is accumulated. It seems fairly linear no matter what the level. And I have also read that using active powers does add exp pts as well. Does anyone have any additional info on this? Do you get experience when your towers or "hired" help make kills etc?
Thanks We're still shocked to see Heroes and Castles still near the top 25 2 weeks after release, tbh! Its quite surreal. But we're just going to keep doing our thing... we're still on schedule for releasing a few new games very soon, and we'll keep working on new content for H&C even after this big one his. We are hoping to start on a new campaign soon actually (with new map and new ally units). You earn the most XP by killing stuff with your hero. You do earn something like 75% xp when an ally kills something. Actually, to be more specific you earn XP based on damage dealt (so in co-op your partner can't steal XP from you by leeching kills ). You do earn xp from using most support abilities, but its based on their effect. For ex you earn XP for each point of damage blocked with Fortify and Paladin's shield.
hi. are dreadnoughts considered dwarves and benefit from dwarvin shack? i don't seem to recall them ever throwing bombs.
seriously nothing annoys me more than BOMBERS. i HATE HATE HTAE BOMBERS (the ones that look like FRIGGIN' GARDEN GNOMES. they always end up destroying my mines.
i think i read from another poster you only need one captain? was this to make sure that one captain was always in vicinity of your pikes?
Gamesave BUG ?????????????????? All the stages are blocked again.... but my heroes have their levels :S if i try to play the first stage, the game crash :S HELP?
What an impressive game, bought 350 gems as I felt the need to show some extra love to Foursaken seeing as it has become one of my favorite devs on ios. This is the correct way to do iap in my book, Ive still got 340+ gems as I didnt really need to upgrade everything at once and im getting enough gems by playing. Im enjoying the difficulty level a lot so far, working my way to level 16 with all the characters but im having somewhat of a tough time adjusting from warrior to the other classes, having a blast though so its all good. Kudos to the devs, what an excellent thing you got going out there Foursaken, specially knowing that this is your propietary engine, just awesome!
just compiling some stuff i thought could posssibly be useful for the dev. don't get me wrong, love the game regardless even if nothing gets added! - some sort of enemy health indicator - building health indicator - ballista, forge etc - longer time at start to exchange messages with co-op partner, 15 secs or so. - a way to free-type in addition to the fixed message options - customisation of hero : armour, weapons, appearance - a couple of attack options : maybe quick press vs long press for attack variation - rune trading/gifting/combing - change the message if long ranged units are attacking the castle - any sort of pick ups or loot system - and generally more of everything : enemies, heroes, abilities, buildings, units please - ability to scuttle units so we can replace them. - have a unit detailed info come up in the buy screen for their stats. - a repair wall button that is permanently on the screen. - in the unit buy screen, their population shows per unit, but when you buy them, they don't tell you how many exact population it will get. like peon 5 x 2 pop. it is a little confusing if i don't have the exact number of units committed to memory
They are pretty bad. Like the archers, but more damage dealing. As paladin, I run around the backfields killing wraiths and stuff, and also any of those things that spawn.
