for people stuck on level 19 - 21, my advice is to just level up your hero. I was stuck on those levels when my hero was around level 19. I just replayed some earlier level and played some coop, got my hero to around level 26-28, then it made those levels much easier. I just followed the strats that have already been posted. I have a Paly BTW. 1. Get 3 mines up first and kite the early wave of units. 2. Get 2-3 riflemen up and they will kill the units as you run around. 3. Get 2 pike up 4. Get blacksmith 5. more riflement and pike 6. Get dwarven hut Got this legendary rune playing coop for 4 min after my partner DC'd right away. +50 starting gold / 20% off building cost
well, i still think engy should go to the back field =_= because when geomancers first respawn, they will take full dmg, and engys can kill them easily. afterawhile, they only take 1/3 of the dmg, thats even less dmg than amored units
I don't understand the hate towards stone walls. When you build a stone wall, the cost of reinforced & steel walls is reduced by the exact cost of the stone wall. Sure stone walls don't add extra strength, but they add quite a bit of extra health, they don't skew the cost of your overall upgrade path to reinforced/steel walls, and spending the gold in smaller chunks allows more tactile freedom to beefing up your defenses as needed. Have you guys just not taken that into account, or am I missing something?
You've put a lot of points into stats, but have you neglected your abilities? I just beat lvls 19-21 with my level 16 pally. All my stats are base, all my units are fully upgraded, but I focused my skill points on abilities. Wasn't the easiest thing (lvl 20 took a few tries), but maybe neglecting abilities is what's making it so hard for you?
I actually knew you were gonna ask for this in the other thread when i realized it was on the wrong game thread... and i typed a ton of stuff, but i saved this on notepad, so here it is.
this is one of the most addictive games i've played for iOS, along with kairosoft titles, PvZ, and temple run (original).
Cronk's 58 Engy = 410 health, 121 dmg, 17 armor, 5.2s run, 32% crit (and 20 unspent points) My 58 Paladin = 754 health, 95 dmg, 21 armor, 16.4s run, 68% crit (no unspent points) Obviously the differences could be exaggerated through our preferences with customisation, but I can't see why his Engy would be better than my Paladin at backfield. The Paladin is much faster, has a lot more health (and a heal/self-invuln), and an AoE stun. Be much better to have him running around swatting archers/catapults in my opinion. Whereas the Engy is great at the walls, 1 shotting wraiths and blasting groups attacking the towers. Although I guess lots of variations would be possible if you were going to allocate your points specifically for a role.
Lol. Or a loss if you enjoy grinding levels in this game I joke. Have fun ! Edit : I'm at an impass ! I need the update. It's still fun grinding levels but slow because I won't take advantage of the known exploits. Though I have to admit to building up a few hundred gold one time to explore the principal.
I picked this up a few days ago and love it. I was worried about the 3rd person view since i normally get motionsickness from them. There's decent strategies going on. There's some difficulty spikes to me..but once you figure out how to beat the level, it's not bad. Most multiplayer games are short, so I've actually played a ton of multiplayer games already (which is why I'm probably over leveled for the main campaign). I'm resisting reading this tread for tips cause I'm working out my own with my engineer.
No clue. I like the damage ones, but since you're an engy I'd say run maybe? Idk I think you have to kite a lot
