Pixelchild: archers and peons both suck. Unless they get buffs in the update skip them both. Pikes and rifles are much better. As for strats and what to summon, it depends on what class. Pally is pikes/captain heavy, and engy is wall + ballista heavy. Pally sometimes skips pikes and does rifle if he needs to kite. Basically you summon whatever your class can summon for cheap first, and summon the other stuff later. Oh quick tip: mines first, the a single blunder to help with crowds, and that buys you more time to amass gold. Either way upgrade walls to at least reinforced fairly early. (skip stone unless you're desperate, but try not to put wall units on wooden walls as they die when the wall falls.) Longbeards help yes. Both rifles and towers. Dunno about Blusterguns tho... Guessing not. Either way, I usually get a few rifles then dwarven hut. It helps FAR more than anything else. Don't need multiple captains/Longbeards after the patch. They won't stack. However, captain buff is an aura around him, so it might be worth summoning another if you're putting out a cluster of pikes too. Pally effect gives an aura under your army. Check for yourself if it hits wall dudes. Dunno honestly I haven't played mine recently.

Yep, Cap needs to be in Range to units. It sucks sometime when I have Hero Academy + Peons, because Peons run faster than the Cap, and often outrun him.
Man I hope archer hero can armor pierce. I feel like I can't really use a bunch of units because they do diddly to armored units, and there's just so bloody many armored things in this game. If I had a hero that could pierce, I'd experiment more with these other units I tend to ignore otherwise.
Still failed on campaign 19 using above suggestion, already level my knight to 25 but still no luck! What is the state best for armor and damage to pass this? And my money only good enough to buy some riflemen when the ogre bosses come...
Could someone possibly be able to answer my question? I can no longer log onto my characters without getting instantly kicked from the program. I know that my data is corrupted and the new patch is supposed to fix. Is their anyway for me to fix without losing my characters? I have a level 55 so I really didnt wanna try to reinstall or something and lose everything, I'd rather wait it out for patch if that's the case. Thank you
Roughly how long is it currently taking Apple to approve updates? I really want this game but I want to wait for the update when all the crashing and data loss bugs have been fixed. Could we see the patch this week?
410health, 121dmg, 17armor, 5.2s run, 32% crit. Lvl 58 with 20 unspent points (and only 1pt in crappy cat skill) I use either +1 gold & -20unit cost rune, 55crit rune, or 70dmg rune, depending on my mood. I tens to use the dmg rune for lower lvl heroes for obvious reasons. I put a point or two in run, a few in armor, and rest in dmg. Few early on in crit but didn't feel like spending multiple who-knows-how-many points for crit past that.
Few days usually. Might be as late as Friday? The bugs are easily avoidable. Buy it now. Just don't let the power run out while you're playing and you should be fine. Just wait for update to do cloud stuff or coop/endless.

Not supposed to no. From what I've seen here the data loss bugs are mostly from cloud save issues and losing power mid-game. As long as you're careful with power you SHOULD be fine. The single player campaign is relatively bug free, albeit there's the VERY occasional crash later on.
Are you failing the level because of your HP going down to 0? or is it because the enemies overrun your castle walls? The thing about this game is you cant pass the difficult levels just with a good setup alone. You need to have the skill to micromanage your resources and using your hero to his maximum.
