When you pass enough levels you unlock giants you can send on the battlefield -all three original characters can use this unit as far as I can tell.
I must not have played far enough to unlock those three units (nor do I even recall seeing them in the list of skills or units). Now I've got a surprise to look forward to when I do unlock them! Any idea at what level or stage they are unlocked at?
Well g3nnral dev said that crusader was for the knight. And he's unlocked at stage 19. So I guessing same with the the other heroes. Looking forward to this update!
Yes, after 19 - they will be added to your units list after you beat the level. Argh! That moment when you're on a way to a great game in co-op, and it crashes. The person I was with completely understood what I was doing and vice versa, so I'm assuming it was someone from here! It's a joy to see when you are playing as Engie, and the Pal or Knight are cleaning up the back field off snipers and archers while you hold down the wall and nearby. Trying again. I can imagine how great this will be once the update eliminates these issues.
You can buy anything early (like elite units) with crystals (7or 8 to unlock something before its level)
imo, engineer should be the one to clear the back field, because his buff has no range limit, and he has range attack, so not likely to get hurt. anyways, i always want to play with someone of my level.
Believe me, I tried, but that usually ends up with me taking a wave out, then when more snipers/Mages respawn - I don't make it back to the keep to recharge HP. And even though you have range attack, so do they, sometimes they get you once before you can take the next hit off. Might be that I overstay there a tad, but even when I ration that sprint button, I do more bad than good. It worked well for us as I said, my high crit was great crowd control at the wall.
I prefer Engy on the walls because; 1. Crack shot along the wall. 2. AOE disruption with crits against groups on the wall. 3. Easy to nip inside to regen hp. 4. Not as fast as Paladin/Knight. Personal preference of course.
Are explosions causing the game to crash in endless mode? After playing many endless games, it looks like when I bought several catapults or mortar towers and there are many explosions going on, the game tend to crash. Was playing above with Engineer. Does anyone have the same experience?
Yes it does crash at this point.. It is fixed in update which has been submitted to Apple. For me engineer seems to cause most crashes. 3 pages back there is changelog if new update - I recommend to check ot out, there is new game mode both in online and offline, 2 new heroes and lots more
Now THAT'S an update!!! Can't wait! Fixes the crystals bug too right? The one that only gave you 1 crystal after like a 10 minute round of Endless?
I fully agree with this. Unless you're pretty high level, it's tough clearing out the back with engy. You just can't trade shots with stuff or absorb/dodge damage as well. I prefer staying near the wall and clearing out the midfield of archers, necros, and spectres.
Stat Reset Please I would love to be able to reset skills/stats to experiment with builds and fix the fact I dumped too much into armor!
Is armor not mitigating a lot of dmg? Was still debating between armor or HPs... And they promised a respec thingie soon. Dunno if it made the update.
Remember you will have to heal those extra hp so it is good to raise both armor AND hp BUT depends on hero, look at mine (knight vs paladin) I'll post just runes and what do I upgrade Knight: +20 armor +50hp legendary rune, after this rune upgradidng mostly attack until I can 100% one hit wraiths and to make solo-hero which can stand face to face and possibly kill some huge enemies Paladin: -12% unit cost +3 armor (making total of 10 so he will not be knocked down) rare rune, upgrading run (to support splitted groups of allies) and health (healing spell says it all). I was upgrading attack at lower levels Engineer: -20% building cost (55 gold balista or mortar with maxed craftman skill) +20 critical legendary rune, upgraded attack a bit, now everything goes to critical Everyone above lvl 30 already
hi. need some advice please. if anyone could address these i'd be tremendously appreciative. are you using archers or gunners or both? and are you using longbeard with them? i just can't seem to figure out a good strategy. all my heroes are level 15 each and each campaign i'm literally making a hodgepodge of strategy and units. like i don't know if towers are better than archers/gunners. does longbeard also affect blunderbuss and ranged towers? if i already have a captain that came out with my peons (using warrior), do i need to hire another captain? it says in the game that sometimes captains come out with my pikemen, this has never happened to me. does stronger wall equal stronger health for goldmines and towers? does keeping the pally near the wall grant the archers the damage bonuses from the passive trait? Hmmm I definitely agree on a mix of armor and HPs in theory. But I really like the idea of using runes to test... I might go with heavy Armor and test it a bit. But something to keep in mind: there's no "one hit" point in endless (and I assume coop). Mobs get progressively more HPs past a certain point, so 1hit kills only work on spectres, for example, until their HPs start increasing. I agree though. My engy has tons of dmg but at this point I need more defense/HPs. I'm tempted to go pure dmg/armor/HPs with him and just use a crit rune.
