Sounds like you know how to play this game pretty well. Every time my energy starts getting low I feel like my hero gets really slow and the game won't let me run when I'm in that state, happens to me every time. Maybe I'm waiting to long to go for cover
FYI guys, update has been submitted (earlier today... a day late, I know >_<). I saw the recent talk of Runes also... right now they are grossly imbalanced once you last a while in co-op or endless... we've tweaked the numbers a bit so that you have a better chance of getting a legendary when crafting a rune. You will still have a good chance of getting a good rune in co-op endless, but it won't be basically automatic once you hit a threshold of like 20 minutes. Back on my level 20 question: Ive got a level 22 Pally, most of the troops I'm using are maxed out. When the troll and mummies and necromancers arrive, there is just too much damage going to the walls to maintain. I only last a couple minutes past the arrival of the troll. Can't seem to kill him. If I use rifles, or ballista to target him, he just takes them out first, along with the repairmen. Just tried a new technique with four giants, two repairmen and stone walls, no towers. Same result. The necromancers tore those guys up. Damn, am I the only one sucking on this level? Have been stumped for 4 days!
Yep, when you're really low you get so slow you're essentially dead. gotta run back sooner. Oh, and never let your run meter fully run out... Release the run button before then. Guy stuck on lvl 20: there's advice in this thread about it. Maybe do a search for "20"? Or just skim the last 2 dozen pages or so. It's hard tho, probably the hardest stage in the game honestly. Problem is the troll takes the ballista hits instead of the necros... Basically you gotta take out the necros and ranged stuff yourself as much as you can, taking advantage of your invulns.

Crap! I wanted to finish the game before the update! Have such lttle time and only 3 levels left to do! Was a fun ride and I cant wait for seige and versus mode! Pros just gonna lvl up the elven archer and play seige and versus at first when the update hits.
Can't wait for the update, if it wasn't for the crashing I would be at least double level by now. Better news than new heroes. Having said that il likely pick up and power a new hero so I can get back into this thing... Now to level my engi to 99, here goes.
Thanks for the note. Pumped up most everything but the invulnerability stat, which explains why going toe to toe with necromancers wasn't working for me (missing a knock down hit was install-death). I bet that would help a ton. Will pump that up next.
Hi, I'm having some troubles with iCloud. I completed the campaign as engineer last night on my iPad. When I go to open my iPhone today I'm only up to level 20 or so as engineer. My iPad still shows my progress completed and asks if I want to restore from my iPhone iCloud save (which I say no to). Any tips on how to get my iPhone to get the iCloud save from the iPad?
