    What

Ok, time to get hardcore on this game after all...

Woweee, maybe il save all the efforts for a new hero then. Maybe I got a chance to compete after update...
Well, I misjudged that by a large mathematical margin too. Been calculating what ideal stats would be at 50 then I play the game with some one here find out he is over that and bam. You can imagine ...

    AHHHH!!! Bug Help?!?

So erm, after playing a few rounds with my engineer, I decided to shift back to my Knight. I realized very quickly after starting a level with him that his damage seemed oddly low. "Silly me, I must've changed out the rune."

Not so. His damage was listed as 39 with my +35dmg rune equipped, and after removing it I confirmed that my level 15 knight now has a base stat of +4 damage. o_O

    Something ain't right. Help Foursaken!

It may not be a bug - you just have to allocate some of your Skill points to damage.

No, it's definitely a bug. His damage was much higher before.

For perspective, my level 6 pally has base damage of 30. I hadn't allocated points to damage for any of my characters, but 4 damage is just silly.

No thats def a bug. You start with dmg in the 20s.

And I'd love a combat hero with more control of mechanics. I know you guys wanted to keep it simple, but if there's multiple hero types why not have one with more combat choices? It's frustrating even with knight since I can't choose shield bash or 1 or 2 sword strikes; the random attack just stinks. It's why he's by far my least played hero... His combat mechanics are beyond my control, so I actually fight better with the other two since I know what to expect.

    Quick question;

Anyone know what the reward is for completing the campaign on all 3 characters? I remember something being mentioned. Thinking about going for it tonight, as endless/coop is a little pointless for the time being.

Sorry, I guess I never paid that much attention to the damage stat - I know my armour one was super low and I had to upgrade that a lot for each character (thought the damage was probably the same).

    another minor issue

    - when you hire units, it says what how much population they take, but it is not for the entire hiring, just for a single unit within that unit so it is displayed incorrectly or should at least display the full pop it will take to hire that group once.

Aha that might be what I'm thinking of!

Probably won't bother with my Knight, then.

The knight is also my least favorite. I've been playing with the engineer, he seems to be the only hero that I can do anything with. I have him at level 16 and my knight is at his final resting point of 8 and my paladin is at 10. I've grinded so much that I have every unit and building maxed out and I still can't progress anymore. Got through the first 10 stages with all heroes and Im able to get to 16 with the engineer but can't seem to pass it. Gold seems to come way to slow and I'm now starting to get very bored playing the same levels over and over. I wish there was another method of earning SP. how do you get the good runes? I think that's the only thing that can help me

You can get legendary runes and stuff for lasting a long time in co op. you can also craft runes, and sometimes they can be rare

My legendary rune came was crafted, but I think coop is a much more reliable way to get them.

Paladin is actually easier than engy early on IMO. It took me forever to beat some missions with the slower engy, especially ones with cats and snipers that keep showing up.

Engy is all about wall units and kiting mobs in front of them. Ie you have a train of stuff following you while your ballista and riflemen whittle them down, occasionally dragging the whole cluster to the back to clear cats/archers/snipers. So shoot melee mobs once, try to heal between waves, and if you have to go back inside to heal, try to clear off a whole wall section with your cluster ability shooting right down the length of the wall AFTER you heal, preferably while wall invuln is up. archers and the like you strafe around and kill yourself.

I guess I'll use my leftover crystals and try crafting. Maybe I'll get lucky. Thank you for the info.
I read complaints about the online where people are not really cooperating with their partners. What should I be doing online with my level 16 engineer to be most helpfull?

    Lemme restate that.

I start getting low, I run in to heal, and a few seconds later pop wall invuln. Then, after I'm healed I fire a cluster shot down one wall length, turn to the other and try to agro high priority targets, taking no more than a few seconds to do so, before immediately running around killing archers and agroing mobs approaching the walls.

All money goes to steel walls and ballista and rifles and dwarves hut at first, and if wall stuff is maxed I summon blusters. Blusterguns are WAY better than pikes... I only summon pikes to deal with the wooden tower things the enemy brings sometimes, and even then it's not til late stage cleanup.
